      @@schmitkeoriginals I don't really understand kiddy well enough, but I think Celtics fans talk like that. Rondo is done. Danny Green was never any good. Ivica Zubac is useless. Alex Caruso is trash. Thomas Bryant has the worst defense in the NBA. KCP is too inconsistent.
      Oh my god, did you see how swole Max Christie's hair looked? We have to start AR and Stanley Johnson. Yadayadayada. Now you want Drummond back? Jesus you guys won't be happy until the Celtics are throwing their parade in the freaking San Fernando valley right?
      Listen, fix starting SG and SF first then backup SF and if Gabe Vincent is a bonifide badass at PG, too, we can have a chat about trading D'Lo for someone else.
      We have Maxwell Lewis. We have Cam Reddish. We have like 28 power forwards none of which can play both sides of the ball. Max still hasn't made a single great play against one single starter ever. JHS is one for 450 from deep and hasn't gotten to the rim more in his career than Scotty Pippen Jr. does in one game. Castleton looks like he might be half a Vlade Divac on a bad day by the time summer league 2031 rolls around. Victoria's secret has better wings than the Lakers at this point. Multiple teams set franchise 3PT records against us last season and the PG that went 18/6/3 on 83/50/41.5 splits setting a Lakers all time 3 point shooting record in the process is what you believe to be the real main problem holding us back? 😂
      If Reaves / Knecht / Christie is out future I hope they play reruns of the showtime Lakers when the actual games are on, because I'd prefer watching basketball reruns over a live circus show. 🤣

      Rui works best WITH LBJ, it forces mismatches on the other end - sure regular season when LBJ doesn't put 1000% into defense it can lead to some miss queues. There's a reason that the Lakers had the 3rd best record league wide w Rui starting. 💯💯💯

      Also, LBJ straight up told the media Rui needed a bigger role last year when he wasn't playing enough... LeBron never does this - usually he operates more passive aggressively - with Rui tho he STRAIGHT UP SAID IT! 🔥🔥🔥

    There true best lineup was Bron at Point 1. and AD at the 4. Have Haynes play the center 5. Max at the 2. Vanderbilt at the 3. Everybody else come off the bench and give us points so that LeBron can rest during the season. As long as they stay healthy we win a championship

    • @peteranders6893
      @peteranders6893 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@tobiasmayn3 LeBron has largely given up the point guard duties four years ago. It takes too much energy. He was starting to turn the ball over 5-6x per game. His shooting was trending down rather than up. He lacked energy to get to the rim. He wasn't getting the amount of rebounds he liked. He had a lot of trouble guarding guys on the perimeter. He wanted to coast a little more to be there in the final 5-6 minutes of a game. He either had to dramatically cut back his own minutes and suffer the consequences to his stats or move to PF and give the role of PG up to someone else be trusted to get 10+ assists per game. That's one of the reasons the Westbrook idea really matured and they finally actually traded for him.
      Now since then three more long years and another 250 games have passed. What in the world makes you think LeBron can withstand an entire season back at PG? We have been looking for a new Danny Green, a healthy younger Trevor Ariza, a more consistent KCP, the next defensive wing stopper like Alex Caruso was and a starting level point guard and prioritized the PG over everything else. We wanted a shooter, who can also play off the ball. We wanted someone that had a low turnover rate. And that is D'Lo. The going rate for starting PGs in the NBA is close to 25M per year. We got lucky D'Lo hasn't ever showed anyone a great playoff run. Otherwise we wouldn't ever have gotten him in the first place.
      Our PG is actually middle of the pack for NBA starters. Now all the other holes still exist though. If you move LeBron to PG, you still need a backup for 20+ minutes and you will lose Lebron's shooting again. You'll also see him attack the paint less again. And for what? You want to start Max Christie and Vanderbilt? They combine for 10 points mate. Even if LeBron gets 25 points in 20 minutes and AD gets 15, you got 50 points at half time and your two best players will be completely done. And what's Hayes supposed to do here? Clog the paint for AD and Lebron? Be a target for backdoor cuts and to switch on to and shoot over? Offensively he'll give you absolutely nothing in this constellation. Why? Because they can double LeBron and AD and leave an extra guy in the paint, because Max is still scared and has no experience and Vando can't shoot. You want Hayes to shoot turnaround jumpers?
      And then off the bench you bring a nice formation with Gabe / Austin / Knecht / Rui and Wood but they will have no center and Gabe is the only guy that has any defense. You think those guys will combine for 55 points every night, so that the game is close enough for tired LeBron and AD to win it all, even though they still don't have any defensive stoppers at the wing positions?
      I have no idea how you guys think basketball actually works. It might be time to search the Internet for what makes lineups in basketball successful. 😉

    Personally, I think LeBron and AD both have something to prove. I think LeBron has to prove that he is the leader of this team. He needs to become much more vocal and demanding of his teammates. AD needs to become more of a mentor to the younger players and both LeBron as well as AD need to show up with a chip on their shoulder. D-Lo needs to work on keeping his teammates involved as well as making his shots more routinely. AR needs to take his game to the next level. We all know that he has the talent to be a star. It is time for him to emerge as one…specifically on defense. Rui needs to prove that he is and will be healthy the entire season. Vanderbilt needs to work on his scoring ability. I agree with you about Gabe Vincent and Dalton. Christie needs to prove that he belongs in the NBA and he can handle playing more minutes. Wood needs to prove that he can be dominate and should be the starting Center. He should be working with AD a lot this season. Hayes needs to continue to work hard and is willing to compete with Wood for minutes. Cam needs to prove he can play at a high level night after night. Bronny needs to prove that he has his father’s genes and he belongs in the NBA.

      @JSM24  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      At the beginning of last season I would agree with this statement. However, if you watched him play post-February last season, he showed major improvement. Like I referenced in the video, he led their team in FG% by a LOT, led their team in OREB per 36, grabbed over 11 reb per 36, and played solid defense. If he can translate that or improve upon it, then he could be a useful backup.

    I got a feeling that this video will "not" age well. Why? Prediction videos are hardly ever right. Too many variable that could happen and that what making prediction the future so difficult. Problem with your breakdown and most breakdown/prediction videos is it hardly ever how it actually plays out. I bet all the guys you claim are not ready may be the most improved and ready. Those are ones who put in the most work usually get the best results when the ball is tossed up. Any one of these guys could shock you with their abilities and improvement. A lot plays into this stuff. It is all up to the individual and how much offseason effort, dedication and hard work they have put into it behind the scenes ultimately is what determines the outcome of their worth to this team not what occurred in the past. So pump your breaks on who will contribute to this team this year. It could all be turned upside down. We shall see. Stay tuned!!

    my starting 5 would be
    PG: Lebron
    SG: Reaves
    SF: Christie
    PF: Vando
    C: Davis
    We can throw Vando on the teams best guard defensively. Go back to 2020 when Bron was basically the PG. Christie imo has tremendous 2 way abilty and can breakout as a solid 40% shooter with around 12ppg similar to KCP. Reaves can be the 2nd ball handler. This gives the Lakers DLO and Rui off the bench to help production. Giving minutes to Knetcht and Wood as well. With limited minutes to Hayes and Vincent. Just this bench is not good and we need a spark to come in and give us points and I think Dlo is the best option who can create for himself as well get others involved. Vincent fucking sucks ill just say that
