I like how ZH is so old but the meta still changes. Few years ago, a Jarmen on a bike was so OP. And only today, we figured out that two Jarmens on one bike is even better.
I like the idea behind this because it gives a whole new opening ideas which makes the games more dynamic. Random armies would've been cool also but don't let one player get the boss general on accident! :D
It isn't an actual mod, it is only scripting in WorldBuilder. I don't know if KW has WorldBuilder and how it works, but for ZH the scripting was not that hard I believe. And once you have a working script, you can easily copy that into different maps as well.
Like playing this RTS in Skirmish mode (off-line) since its release but would join on-line if it were easier to set up with less risk if I screwed up the setting. Is there anyone else that is held back by the current pc requirements to set up?
The game is played on special maps especially designed for Dual Armies. The basic trick is that the AI is programmed to instantly give up, so the real player end up playing with two armies (but only generals powers of the 'main' one).
4:06 yes you can but you have to have the demo CC be the latest build one or if you have built both CC and you want to pick the right ambush for a given situation you have to select the CC and send it from there the shortcuts at the right side of the screen always refer to the latest built CC and they will have the property of that CC however some general powers may look the same but they are not the same in the code and that would result it bricking the shortcut for example if you have a infinite/china carpet and got your lotus to capture a nuke CC that carpet won't be able to be send from the nuke CC and sometimes it will bug out your shortcuts making you forced to go to CC to be able to use the carpet or check on the timer however it may also happen to a GPS scrambler when you have stealth and GLA vanilla and if you have a level 2 Spector on a vanilla USA if you capture a air force CC you might want to use it instead of none air force one because the moab/fule air, Spector, leaflet and A10 will have laser defense countermeasures making them more likely to hit their target
