In the last 3 finals vs Chelsea, Liverpool won through penalties and Liverpool had 3 different keepers for the shootout (Adrian in 2019, Kelleher, Alisson both in 2022)
Tyler is 70 or thereabout's... massive respect to the years of coverage and commentary... But it feels like he is reading a book rather than commentating on a football match

Luis Díaz played amazing, he had bad luck
typical Tyler when Tsimikas scored the winner he called it a nervous penalty, i didn't see anything nervous about his penalty take as he sent Mendy the wrong way and he looked so calm and collected

Yeah bias aside best I can as an LFC fan, Martin Tyler is a bit sort of tired and past it. Maybe even run down with his commentating these days, he should still do it- but reserve it more for the big matches. And these sort of occasions, did like his World Cup final commentary though. "And Messi scoreeees and the story continues" ahaha

11:49 before this match Chelsea had lost 5 of the last 6 domestic cup finals they’d been in and had played in their home kit in every one. Apparently they’ve had more luck in yellow, but the last time they won anything in yellow, as far as I’m aware, was when they beat Everton in the 2009 FA Cup final
