i will include some lower stakes but truth be told low stakes strategy won't deviate too much from high stakes. people arent just making big mistakes at low stakes, its just they make many more small mistakes
def an exploit but in my experience players bluff less in checkback lines on ace high boards because its really easy to cbet your air on the flop or stab it on the turn, and its also really easy to check down middling pocket pairs and Ax. so when players stab their air on previous streets and check their medium hands they just have too little air and too many medium hands by the time it checks down to river
yes balance matters because most players make the same mistakes. if your mistakes fall in line with most other players, an opponent can exploit the player pool without necessarily knowing who you are.
3:25 you wanna bet smaller with two pair, wtf? youre blokcing everything your opponent could call you with and on a dynamic board if a flush draw calls you lose less money betting smaller lol

Funniest thing I’ve heard in poker terms
it really is that simple

Could you make more of these in lower stakes maybe $1/$2? Might me more applicable to the rest of us especially if you can play 6 handed
Nah. Play your stakes. This is great content. Some amazing insight for free. You have a gift to articulate and make it very easy to digest.

@@makepokersimpleI would like to see lower stakes as well
Great content
I don't understand the check fold on turn/river with the J4. Scared of good players value betting medium pairs?

Do you feel as if the bovada security team is actively policing these games now?
i do feel like its gotten a bit better actually. but i dont have evidence to back it up just my experience
20:55 is there actually a point in being balanced like this in anonymous pools?
Yes and no.
In a small pool you have to be balanced, in a large pool you can unbalance.

@@makepokersimple you are correct sir.
I forgot to add that to my response.
Please tell your roommate to stop typing so loud. Bahaha

hes trying to say that he would pot it with range, would he tho?? i dont think so
not really, the logic of big hand = bet big holds up really well as long as you're bluffing appropriately
