After Lego did the Ecto-1, the DeLorean, the Tardis, and Optimus Prime, I wanted them to do some kind of affordable James Bond set, so imagine my surprise when this was announced. My only complaint is that I wish the Bond minifigure was based on Sean Connery, not Daniel Craig (not dissing on Craig, but I prefer Connery)
For some reason on the LEGO shop this car costs £19.99 + £3.95 postage but I could get it at the shop for £18 so if you want them I would recommend getting them at the shop because you can save somewhere close to £10

I got this from Smyths for £17.99, and to say it’s an improvement on the big one which came out a few years ago is an understatement. It blows that ugly monstrosity out of the water.

Ich kennen keinen,der Drucke hat und ich kenne auch keinen,der metallic silver hat,Wahnsinn,wollte gestern nur kurz in die Bauanleitung sehen,wie ich die Lichter brickbuild statt Sticker mache und - Drucke!Hä? Was ein geniales teil,ich kenne keinen anderen Hersteller von 8 wide racern mit Drucken und metallic silver! Tolles Video,das Set ist ne glatte 1,ich weiß,fehlen die klappbaren Nummernschilder,der Schleudersitz,die Schußsichere Rückwand,die schußfähigen Maschinengewehre.... Nö,glatte 1 für mich,mußte es bauen und jetzt aber direkt Bett,kein Los,keine 4.000 Euro.... Gruß
I was considering buying this Aston Martin James Bond car but the more I look at it the least interested I became. It's not really an exciting option in the Speed Cars lineup.
My biggest complaint with this set is the minifigure. Should of been the Chad Sir Sean Connery. Craig and his era kinda sucked. There’s only one film I’d really call good. However, it cannot be understated that Speed Champions keeps getting better and better. Movie cars are fantastic step forward.
@@nathanthomson777 Made a minor error, he's a tiny bit taller but my point still stands: A minifig is about 5.5 studs tall. This car is about 10 studs wide. An actual DB5 is 167 cm wide. For the car that means 16.7 cm per stud. Multiply by 5.5 and our mini 007 measures a measly 91.8cm. Making him smaller than the car at 134cm.
It's a very pretty car but the stickers are driving me absolutely nuts, especially those one at the door.
Try the mclaren senna I messed the stickers so badly they crumbled and looked ugly so I threw them away😞

Cars in England drive on the left hand side, 1 third of the worlds countries drive on the left side

It kinda bothers me that the stickers don’t match the brick color.
I just cut out the needed parts ,handles vents etc

…I might get this as a Christmas gift for myself. Only down side in my opinion is that it only comes with one figure, and it’s not even Sean Connery.

At this scale 007 would be about 75cm tall. They can call this minifig scale till the cows come home. But it isn't. Not even close.
