My thoughts exactly. Don’t come for him… COME FOR EVERYBODY. Well, let’s say this wldn’t have gotten so far. Children are immature. WHERE WERE THE ADULTS OF THE VILLAGE? 😕
Hugely impactful and overall poignant. Also, a stern lesson reminding us to leave people alone altogether in the cases we are not equipped to show them compassion, as such with his interaction with the girl and her mom. What you do ultimately finds its way back to you.
@@RHKhan86 yes, true. But, they too will go through guilt of abusing someone. Be it from others or themselves. The circle completes for all of them. But that's just my opinion.
I’ve seen the prequel. Man, what a tragic story. Sad, tragic death of a disabled daughter and her mother. Michael committed horrible acts in his early life. He also had a bad upbringing, too. His mother’s a brat, he hung out with the wrong group of kids. The past haunted him 10 years later. He uses boxing as his way out to relieve the stress, let alone escape his past. Throughout this short film, certain events come back to haunt him (ex: the handsmothering, the fire, Michael’s childhood of crime and mischief, you name it). By the end of it, he tried committing suicide because he can’t take the pain anymore. I had a feeling his mother is responsible; so was everyone else involved as the perpetrators. Also, the police force should have been more active and responsible, not be dicks and then the chief saying “now f$**# off”. Hope this guy, Michael, has learned his important lesson, to not bully people and overdo it. Because crazy consequences can happen. Hope he’s learned right from wrong now. Poor guy. And finally, I want to end with this: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We all make mistakes. We all should try to redeem ourselves as best as possible. Good luck to our society.
He wasn’t really trying to commit suicide. It was a pathetic sympathy play. He knew that he would be saved because he has turned himself into a victim of bullying. Thee irony.
@@lisajanebrooklynI don't think you understand trauma. That whole street is to blame and the police. Like the priest said in the first part about vanity and only caring about yourself. One cop tried to help. No one had to die.
Young kid is raised by an "angry mob" and bullied his entire life and does the same to someone else. Anyone see a pattern here? This episode reminds me a bit of Poe's story The Tell-Tale Heart.
Your comment made me think of it from a different angle. The bullied kid in the bad crowd is powerless to attack his actual bullies but is given free rein and their support (and acceptance) to bully someone else. That's why he ended up being the worst one to the mother and her daughter because of all his anger.
I hope there’s a third part. I feel that the boys who did this won’t truly be punished until they have real remorse. This one is now just starting his life sentence. 😔
thats how the mother and daughter felt...they couldnt breathe...they couldnt escape. you didnt light the match but you might as well have....you get what you give. STOP THE BULLYING
I tried to feel some sort of sympathy for him, knowing his own damaged childhood and how irresponsible his mother was and probably all the older people in his childhood most likely had acted even more detestable. But the thing is he never once apologized or acted in anyway actually sorry about what had happened in the first short. All the way up until the ending when the guilt and fear of everyone else judging him hit him hardest and he made an attempt at doing away with himself. But that move only further proves how cowardly he was all the way until the end, unable to accept that his actions along with several others, had a horrible outcome. The past will always come to haunt you....well done for the sequel short!!!! Nearly as powerful as the first.
Bullying doesn't just effect the victim. It also effects the bully as well. Not only does it leave lasting effects, but harsh ones too. Harsh ones that don't really go away. The guy was having karma thrown his way, just as he was trying to change, forget the past, and all of the memories haunting him for a whole 10 years. I would say he didn't deserve the punishment of karma now, he only needed it when the time was right.
The 1st of this continuation was powerful as was this the 2nd. That feeling of something you can't take back., I was reminded of the things in my past that I am am ashamed of, I can't imagine what it must be like to be so deeply & genuinely regretful of having done something so extreme. To me it did not seem entirely clear how sorry her really was or how much the desperation was to just escape the current unbearable situation. I don't know that we could ever know for someone else. There are some things I do not know how it would ever be possible to forgive myself for.
I seen the first part of the story it was very tragic. So it just gave me flash backs and I connected the story together. It’s just so crazy to see how messed up people are on different levels. Sometimes it’s harder to notice when it’s right in front of you.
Okay, I watched the short that depicted that murder-suicide after her special needs daughter was relentlessly bullied by teens, I detest any sort of bullying and I do like how this ties in,
I understand having a terrible childhood, but I think justice getting served to the girl is right. He deserves to get punished for what he did. Just cause he was abused doesn’t suddenly excuse his actions. He didn’t deserve to be abused, and it wasn’t his fault, but what he did to that girl was his fault, and he deserves to be punished for it. He made that choice to bully her, his abusers didn’t force him to bully her, it was his choice alone. At least that’s my take away.
This is a classic explanation that the evil that man does, follows him. There's all kinds of punishment that comes with that. Some could be ghosts or demons tormenting the person while others can be anxiety, depression, stress, nightmares, paranoia and suicidal thoughts which all seems to be the case here. You WILL reap what you sew.
And the girl he bullied? The girl who went through all of that for no reason? She did not sow, she did not deserve the pain he took her through. What’s the point of being good if you’re punished either way? (Coming from a victim of bullying now suffering from depression and anxiety. I would of course never do that to someone either way)
I was bawling after watching part 1 of this story. Only to find out that this was based on a true story about the Pilkington family in the UK. Pure insanity. And worse children were doing these things to them. Crazy world we live in.
I had no idea they made a sequel. I came across this by chance... The prequel to this video was extremely infuriating and upsetting to watch. Every single actor was terrific... The victim-mom, bully-mom, and the cop were all completely realistic, the girl who played the disabled victim was excellent, but the best performance of all was definitely the primary bully. He was that terrorist who most of us recognize from our youth. To give a villain performance that is indistinguishable from the real thing is a true work of art. I was so angry at him I felt like I wanted to torture him... When a work of fiction makes you feel so frustrated, angry, sad and sympathetic to the point where you forget it isn't real, you have found some truly talented actors.
Had to go and watch the prequel and all I can say is that every community needs a scapegoat. They were all apart of it, not just him, all the neighbors that never spoke up in the moment, the police, his family, silent bystanders and now because of their collective guilt, they look for where to place absolute anger and blame, so that they, themselves are faultless. Where was this kind of angry outburst when it was actually needed, where was the community for this mum and daughter? Hindsight is such a useless super power...we can't change the past...
Absolutely amazing. I lost track of time. 20min, 60min, 90min. I'm not sure how much time passed. Hell of a job. From top to bottom, this is exceptional.
Reading the comments of this powerful short I feel I have missed a couple of important things. Firstly, I came to this film not knowing there was a previous film. I would have loved to have seen the first before watching this. Secondly based on the comments it seems this is based on a true story, again, something I wasn't aware of. Iniquity is a fantastic Omeleto short dealing with a troubling subject, Great acting, great production and an overall really good film.
The first part told the truth to a tea to be fair. This story is far from the truth. He actually felt no remorse at all. And only 3 months after the event went and terrorised an old lady on the same street every night by playing really loud music and throwing eggs til 3am. to the point where her health deteriorated because of sleep deprivation and her blood levels rised to the point of being hospitalised. He is still remains part of the same gang he was in when he was a youth and was recently arrested for battery
I appreciate the concept, but overall the film feels like wish fulfillment. A not insignificant number of predators go on to live remorseless lives free of consequence while their victims are left to deal with trauma (if they survive that is). That our abuse will be avenged is a fantasy. I learned this lesson the hard way, though I admit it’s still fun to fantasize about karma forcing cruel people to reckon with their pasts.
I thought I recognized the girl and her Mum ..it was another short film on here, that told there life. If I can remember the name I will write it on here. They tried to get justice..no one helped them. So good to know justice was served.
I don't know how to feel about this. How he feels now is how his victims felt ,but watching this punishment play out is painful to watch. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
He getting exactly what he deserves, now he gets to feel and experience what that mother and daughter did. No sympathy for him, only wish everyone that was involved would catch the same sh!t as him
A young boy pressed into criminal behavior by his older brother and friends takes their lessons to the extreme and indulges to the point that a mother and daughter go up in flames, and that event then wakes him up to the wrongness of what he'd been taught to do. This is a powerful story. The fact that his older brother, and at least one friend, continue to behave like deranged bully-boys while he struggles with his demons is a truthful backdrop to what many people who can't escape the environment that turned them bad, but they desperately want out and yet don't know how. Good job!
@Marcus Turdwell Dead Man's Shoes? A tremendous film and an outstanding performance from Paddy Considine - pretty early on in his career too. I don't think that it gets the recognition it deserves - achieving a poor Rotten Tomatoes score, (not surprising TBH - I've got no faith in any Rotten Tomatoes scores). Of course it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's certainly not a bad film. Do you rate it?
Brilliantly done in 23min. Very moving. Made me cry. I hope to see more like this. More based on true events.. good and bad. Funny & Sad. I'd love to writ a film.
I have been waiting for this film!!! So glad you got the funding for your film. 🥰 Well Done!!! When the scene ended, the silence at the end, was very powerful. Not sure if it was intended, the silence was 10 seconds long. I wonder if the group of vigils realize when they are tormenting Michael for the bullying he did 10yrs ago, which led to Angela committing suicide with her daughter. That they are doing so without thinking about the consequence? If their actions lead to Michael killing himself, are they any better than he was? I wish they showed the others who bullied even though Michael was the main instigator. Do you think Michael's girlfriend would still stay with him when she learns what happened 10yrs ago? I think she would because he has remorse for his actions and is not the same person anymore.
Never fool yourself into thinking, you got away with an evil deed, Karma always finds you, maybe not today or tomorrow, but guarantee She's on her way, with the wrath of Hell behind her
Do i care the bully suffered and tried to off himself? No. Because a mother and child lost their lives and noone paid for it. I've said this before and I'll say it again. Just because you've suffered it doesn't give you rhe right to take your pain out on someone else. Someone in the comments said don't judge when you haven't walked in his shoes. That's excusing the bully and justifying his actions, that he pushed a mother and daughter to suicide, did you walk in their shoes before you made that comment? I will judge and I will judge harshly him and every single one of the bully. I will also judge harshly society for being so cold and callous towards the mother and child. It should be a criminal offence. A 10yr girl in Queensland Australia was hung to a tree by her schoolmate who have been bullying her. A teacher saved her in time but the school did not tell her mum or reprimanded the bully until.the girl's mum saw the bruises and went to the police. The school and the bully's family continued to deny wrong doing until she took them to court. These kinds of bullies need to rot in prison.
I love this. Such attention to detail, the emotions, the karma at play and love how it all connects so very well with the the other short! The music and everything else goes so well together for me! You inspire me to get off my ass and work on my own shorts, thank you omeleto.
He doesn't feel regret for what he did to that family he feels regret because what he did haz stopped him and his family moving on to a quiet life he feels they're deserve. That all its about not quilt just how it's no e crounging on him
Was all that really happening or was it all in his head? Why didn't his wife seem to know what was going on? Some of this was confusing. But one thing I know for sure, bullies always pay. When I was 10, a classmate bullied me relentlessly. She died of a drug overdose less than 10 years later. Not happy about that, but not surprised either. Some people are just plain evil.
I believe everyone has a conscious and all the bad things, past behavior, mistakes, uttered words now and then come back knocking at the door of your conscious and haunt you. Now some entertain the knock, numb the knock, ignore the knock, acknowledge the knock, and as forgiveness.. It's all up to us how we deal with it.. This I guess is one of those days when the past comes knocking and reminds you of your past.. It happens to the best of us.

Maybe, when you think about it Everyone involved in this tragedy should be held accountable..Michael, His Parents, His friends who I influenced him the neigh orhood Who walked around with blinders on and REFUSED to get involved and the POLICE..I truly believe there were many involved and not Punished for their actions and behaviors..
My thoughts exactly. Don’t come for him… COME FOR EVERYBODY. Because once other men, women, business owners, school leaders, ect shed light on this matter, and shamed the boys publicly for their misbehavior, and SUPPORTED the mom and daughter…. Well, let’s say this wldn’t have gotten so far. Children are immature. WHERE WERE THE ADULTS OF THE VILLAGE? 😕
That blood on their hands will never wash off.
Hugely impactful and overall poignant. Also, a stern lesson reminding us to leave people alone altogether in the cases we are not equipped to show them compassion, as such with his interaction with the girl and her mom.
What you do ultimately finds its way back to you.
Well - I know I don’t empathize with what he is grappling with. For every action there is a consequence. Serves him right.
You’re just as evil.

Good luck to our society.
thx for the comment chubby
He wasn’t really trying to commit suicide. It was a pathetic sympathy play. He knew that he would be saved because he has turned himself into a victim of bullying. Thee irony.
* I'm talking about the real bullies, not the actor in the movie of course.
@@lisajanebrooklynI don't think you understand trauma. That whole street is to blame and the police. Like the priest said in the first part about vanity and only caring about yourself. One cop tried to help. No one had to die.
@@lisajanebrooklyn yes you are correct. Michael is playing the victim game strong.
Hope it starts people thinking when they are unfair to others. It will always come back to haunt you.
It's called KARMA
Problem is, they wouldn't be sorry for what they did, just sorry they got caught.
This is such a powerful film. It is so dark and mentally frustrating.
As it should be
Young kid is raised by an "angry mob" and bullied his entire life and does the same to someone else.
You can run away, but you can never run away from yourself.
I hope there’s a third part. I feel that the boys who did this won’t truly be punished until they have real remorse. This one is now just starting his life sentence. 😔
The few times I have seen your posts, I have been impressed. Well done, sir. Annd thank you. The world needs people like you.
thats how the mother and daughter felt...they couldnt breathe...they couldnt escape. you didnt light the match but you might as well have....you get what you give.
This was exceptional acting. Wow.
Forgiveness is a powerful thing.
Okay, I watched the short that depicted that murder-suicide after her special needs daughter was relentlessly bullied by teens, I detest any sort of bullying and I do like how this ties in,
People like him have pasts that come back to haunt him. Not only people that have suffered traumatic events.
*sow
@@lovingmayberry307 Thank you
That doesnt really happen always
Maybe Maybe Not....just my thoughts
And the girl he bullied? The girl who went through all of that for no reason? She did not sow, she did not deserve the pain he took her through. What’s the point of being good if you’re punished either way?
(Coming from a victim of bullying now suffering from depression and anxiety. I would of course never do that to someone either way)
"Regardless of our crimes, true regret is a bottomless pit, no matter the justice"
If anyone else didnt see part 1 its Called: This is Vanity
Certain actions have the darkest of consequence...
There is really is no happy ending for none just devastating for everyone 😐
Had to go and watch the prequel and all I can say is that every community needs a scapegoat. They were all apart of it, not just him, all the neighbors that never spoke up in the moment, the police, his family, silent bystanders and now because of their collective guilt, they look for where to place absolute anger and blame, so that they, themselves are faultless. Where was this kind of angry outburst when it was actually needed, where was the community for this mum and daughter? Hindsight is such a useless super power...we can't change the past...
that is why at the end, they are doing what they failed to do to help Angela and Tyler.
He didn't suffer the mother daughter sure did
Absolutely amazing. I lost track of time. 20min, 60min, 90min. I'm not sure how much time passed. Hell of a job. From top to bottom, this is exceptional.
This was a good movie with a powerful message. Some acts can never be undone. Evil must be punished.
Yeah, would love to see the first part
The first part told the truth to a tea to be fair. This story is far from the truth. He actually felt no remorse at all. And only 3 months after the event went and terrorised an old lady on the same street every night by playing really loud music and throwing eggs til 3am. to the point where her health deteriorated because of sleep deprivation and her blood levels rised to the point of being hospitalised. He is still remains part of the same gang he was in when he was a youth and was recently arrested for battery
I feel no remorse for the guy. This is karma for you
Wow his acting is really good, it makes me want to forgive him for what he did
Well he’s truly remorseful.
Nah man
I believe He isn't the same person, it's different actor
People like him don't deserve forgiveness
Ooh, that was intense!
I mean it does happen. Maybe not often but some folks do change and go through this .. yeah it would be great if it happened more..
I do believe karma..but it'll not happen in this life..
The short movie was so good they made a sequel
I feel a strong emotional connection to this story.
I thought I recognized the girl and her Mum ..it was another short film on here, that told there life. If I can remember the name I will write it on here. They tried to get justice..no one helped them. So good to know justice was served.
I remember the first omeleto video, I'm glad they added a new part.👍🏼
I don't know how to feel about this. How he feels now is how his victims felt ,but watching this punishment play out is painful to watch. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
He getting exactly what he deserves, now he gets to feel and experience what that mother and daughter did. No sympathy for him, only wish everyone that was involved would catch the same sh!t as him
An eye for an eye.
It doesn't matter how far or how fast you run. The past always catches up with you. Because some people never forget a wrong.
Good job!
No sympathy for that punk, though the neighbors are just as worst since where was this mob when the daughter and mother needed them.
Consequences, consequences, consequences........For every action there is a reaction.
That was heavy.
Beyond that I'm not sure of what to say - had a feeling of Dead Man's Shoes, even though the story was very different.
@Marcus Turdwell Dead Man's Shoes?
I got the same kind of vibe, except the flashbacks felt more personal here because of his involvement.
Even though I do feel empathy for his regrets I don’t feel any sympathy
Best to see the first film to help put this in context. A lot of guilt on that street... still well alive today. (This Is Vanity).
I find the array of the types of responses that have been left on these short films extremely telling about the human condition.
Nice sequel to This Is Vanity.
It is a pity this film is not subtitled. The dialect is pretty difficult to understand.
he lacks accountability
This is what should happen to all bullies
Brilliantly done in 23min. Very moving. Made me cry. I hope to see more like this. More based on true events.. good and bad. Funny & Sad. I'd love to writ a film.
So this is the sequel to that other video
yeah, I was thinking the same
This short film is one of the most powerful films I’ve ever watched in my life
I have been waiting for this film!!! So glad you got the funding for your film. 🥰
Well Done!!!
OMG this is a continuation of that?! One of the legendary Omeleto films. Wow. This is amazing.
This is a great film but I do think he got off pretty easy after what he did.
So he was one of the tormentors of the disabled daughter and her mother from the previous film. It’s karma for him.
I dont feel any empathy or sorry for him he deserve this and he choose his own karma

The fact that some people do such acts is more than aggravating.
Bullies damaged people who project onto another.
I love this. Such attention to detail, the emotions, the karma at play and love how it all connects so very well with the the other short! The music and everything else goes so well together for me! You inspire me to get off my ass and work on my own shorts, thank you omeleto.

It's a horrible thing to be cruel.
He is still evil. Nothing changed. All he cared is about himself. No remorse
Do not judge a man for what he has done, judge him for what he does next. For that will define who he truly is.
