According to Texas driving laws (and I'm sure many other states as well) the only time you can cross a double yellow line is to turn into or out of a driveway or business entrance. It is illegal to cross when approaching or going through an intersection.

I’m a new biker and have had two people give me the finger. First was me going slowly around someone walking in the middle of the road. Second was me going slowly around two people walking in the middle of the road.
I am a biker myself and i keep seing other bikers making the same mistakes and never learn. Firstly sportbike riders you need to filter more safely. You cant speed while filtering. Go very slow and be more safe. Harley riders your bikes are not made to lay down in corners so just go way slower and enjoy your bikes instead of going to fast. Touring/heavy bikes you need to understand your bike is very hard to handle and easy to drop, the way many of you drive it would be better for you all to get a lighter bike around 300-400cc you really dont need more and will have more fun riding a lighter bike. I ride many bikes from small dirt bikes to heavy road bikes and you really got to adapt to your current bike and get to know it. A bike that weights 80 kilo is going to be very different from one that weights 300+ kilo. Lastly dont start on a to powerfull bike and just becuase you have been riding bikes your whole life doesnt mean you are safe on a bike.

Why is it that bikers love getting into other vehicles lanes (lane splitting), but hate it when other vehicles get into their lanes ? 🤔 They freak out, and rev their engines all the way to the redline.
Because it’s a risk to the rider. When doing it as a biker, the risk is your own call. And is lane splitting. When a car does this, it is not allowed to lane split nor pass a vehicle whilst sharing its lane at an unsafe distance. Very different rules. Look it up. The engine rev is because they’re keen to melt parts and have to buy a new engine… or they’re ignorant more likely. It’s also stupid because you’ve got no engine braking, whereas the horn is much easier to use & still control the bike.
First off wear a holster with a retention strap if you're going to carry on your bike. Don't do the felon carry like a jackass. Second carrying on your back is one of the worst places you can carry. Third I'm assuming where this video took place there's no open carry either.
You're right, shouldn't be on the road. But, there's also something to be said for minding your own business. If it upsets you that much don't start a confrontation that you can't win. Just call the cops and let them deal with it. They're the ones who deal with these problems. Old man is also pretty lucky. You start putting hands on people and things can go sidesways real quick.

@ 6:20, the left turn is very legal. Double yellow indicates it's a no passing zone. Pretty much because people will be turning into their driveways.
A left is only allowed at a broken double yellow, just like pulling out of that driveway you are only allowed too make a right.
