POV Cooking J. Kenji Lopez Alt's Chicken Karaage | First Person Cooking

This is my first recipe from Kenji's new book The Wok (link below to purchase). I do not personally own the book but Kenji was gracious enough to do a collab with Andrew Rea and post this super simple recipe online. I was taken aback at how much flavor could be achieved with such a simple marinade and about 1 hr of time.
As Kenji mentioned in the original video (link below, and recipe in the comments of said video), this is definitely bar food that goes super well with beer or in my case....sake.
I will definitely be making this again and will be purchasing a wok and The Wok soon in order to start tackling more chinese, japanese, and various other east/southeast Asian foods. Thank you for watching!

I’m not as consistent there but I post condensed versions of my videos there without music.
