I had a LOT of He-Man and Thundercat figures and one Tigersharks figure with animals, vehicles and fortresses, but when I was 11, my parents decided I was too old for those toys and threw them all out when I was gone on a weekend trip. Beastman was my favorite He-Man figurine, but I liked the Thundercats more.
Nostalgia overload. Holly Cow. I actually picked up a Battle Cat the other day for a $1.00. That Gigan toy I had as a kid that one and a yellow one. I have a Modulok as well but I am missing a decent amount of the pieces. Awesome video!

cool video and I enjoyed it. I would've kept the panthor with the crack because I could've put the one with the harness in the tote you bought I would've put the harness on the cracked one to cover up the crack.. Ps. The panthor thing with the Seam breaking is common..

I can't wait to start searching but was hoping you had some advice for a rookie like myself. plus the condition you found the LJN figures were immaculate
ebay will have 99% of what your looking for flea markets are a good place yard sales just ask if they have old toys I found a star wars x wing for 5 $ at one a couple months ago face book has a ton of pages specializing in different toy lines

You have to be sure on the He-man figures that they are the original and not the commerative series. I made that mistake when I bought my prince Adam and thought dang he's in really good shape but nope that's because It was the commerative version
It really sucks most of them are just bare-bone figures with no armor or accessories, because as you already know by now that's where the money is. I picked up a local MOTU lot two years back and it was an epic score primarily because of the rare figures it had and the accessories they came with. I paid $220 for around 50 figures including Scareglow, Ninjor, Mosquitor, Terror Claws Skeletor, Multi-Bot, Horde Trooper, Dragon Blaster Skeletor and Champ Clamp as well as a multitude of playsets and vehicles including Fright Fighter and Monstroid. Also included with the lot was the dark dragon from Super Naturals . Not to take away from your score, but that was the most quality local pick-up I've ever seen and it happened to be me who bought it. I kept a couple of figures from the lot and sold the rest which made me over $2000 profit. I've had a lot of success picking up local lots of 1980s action figures and it astounds me how people comment on here asking to buy your lot. All a person needs to do is be proactive at searching local listing sites and they'll find them. They don't show up every day nor every month for that matter, but they do pop up. Also, people need to be proactive at garage sales. Look for people our age and our parents age and ask them if they have any toys from their childhood or their kid's childhood they'd like to sell. I think people expect these types of lots to just fall in their laps.
I'm selling them for around $2.50 each (more for certain sets and figures, like the dark face Grizzlor), all the extra figures are now spoken for, just waiting for everyone to pick them up.
