Pho Bac in Richardson on Plano Road is the best place for authentic pho. Whenever I get a chance, I go there for the beef pho with kobe beef or the dark chicken pho. You won't be disappointed. Pho Tay Do has one of the best "bun bo hue" and I would recommend checking out Goc Hue on Belt Line Rd for the same dish. The dish is just as good and it's subjective to one's palette.
Pho pasteur in Richardson was not all that great. Pho was a little too beefy and doesn't have a smooth broth. Also got the beef Vermacili noodle and the beef had no flavor at all. No salt or anything on it. Very disappointed.
I agree I’ve always went to pho Pasteur in Carrollton for years they are always great but when I was in Richardson I decided to try it there it wasn’t the same I got the Large like usual but was full so fast I couldn’t finish there was to much msg in that one in richardson

Pho Pasteur was the first place I ever had pho ♡ its super yummy
My top 2 are Pho Pasteur (Carrollton > Richardson, haven't tried Arlington yet) and Pho Bac (best imo).
Thanks
I'm getting hungry
