Hi. Im in England and we don't have huge goodwill stores etc. we have small charity shops but we can still find some great things. My newly wed daughter has just moved into a lovely old house and have furnished it entirely with furniture from charity shops. I gave them the idea after watching you and others like you. They have saved hundreds of £ and it looks amazing. Thanks..

cherish your Mom as long as you can. Mine is gone but I am way older than you. We used to go junking sometimes all day only stopping to eat lunch. Worked harder on my time off than I did at work.
OMG I could literally hear the hangers slidding across and I got the chills hahahahahah I'm officially weird.
We have those blue sticks and orange and yellow balls! My kids most played with and loved toy. They use it to make everything from forts and ships to microphones to fake food for cooking and everything in between. They could be fun for your students.
I thought they might be good for my students, but decided to pass on getting them!

oh I love thirft store shopping but in the uk we call them charity shops and I often trawl up and down the high street visiting them all ... I tend to look out for firstly fabric ... either table clothes or bedding for sewing projects then a look at the kids clothes for my granddaughter then just browse :-) may have to start looking closer at the bigger size clothes for sewing projects too

I'm a size 7 too!! Or depending on the show, 7 1/2 or 8. Just found some Clarks sandals at my local Goodwill in a size 8 that fit perfect!

Haha, ur mom was funny in the beginning shooing the camera. My mom used to threaten to break our camera if she caught is taking her pic. At about 11:34 I spied a beautiful tin canister, I would have snagged it up, it looked so vintage.

Hi Kieran, I just went to my local Goodwill and found a coffee and tea canister set. They are beautiful. 3.99. Score! They're ceramic with a red top wish I found sugar and flour ,but I'll take Coffee and Tea .
or you could use that wooden rack for wrapping papers you use. in a crafting room would be cute.

It's amazing what you can find at the thrift store or goodwill :-). I actually found a beautiful crystal bowl worth 80 to 90$ for 6$ and a handbag worth 350-400$ for 25$. it's a week and find treasure when you have the time. It's like one humungous yard sale. :-)

How I wish I could find clothes that are as cute as the one shown in this video in the thrift stores here in my country.
Those furniture felt pads can be turned over so the plastic is on the carpet and it would work as sliders
I always want you to go slowly through the linen sections as I collect vintage sheets it's so painful when you rush by there hahahaa I'm nuts!

I miss the times together with my mom but I have wonderful memories.
With all the "thrifting" you do, how do you store it all or do you have a one item in, one item out rule?
I will use my items in different places around my home and my classroom. If I'm not using it immediately, I have space in our attic. I also go through and donate items regularly.

Great thrift store haul! I loved looking around it with you :) LOVE the elephant shirt you found, as I am really into elephants. Also really enjoy that you are a teacher and find things for your classroom at the thrift store. I wish so many people people did that. You really cannot beat the deals you find at a thrift store. I hope you do open an Etsy shop of items from your childhood . You were showing some items in a past video and I kept being like... ah!! I remember!!! Especially the glow worm and anything Bernstein Bears. I was OBSESSED . I'm 29 today and still remember. What grade do you teach? I was just curious. Best of luck .
