Hi everyone! I'm a 15 year aspiring web designer. I have very basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. I am trying to start up a web design "business" (I want to freelance) and I've been watching your old videos after finding your channel today. I will be contacting you with my specific questions soon!

Great advice on how to present your designs well for interviews! An additional tip, try practicing in front of a camera so you can watch yourself. Let us know what you think of our new show, ProjectUX, the UX show for startups! Your content rocks, keep it up!

Try practicing in front of a camera, watching yourself and interacting with the camera can help!

Yea in interviews I was asked to explain my work. Some seem to care mainly about the visual but I guess it depends on the role and what their understand of ui/ux design is.

Hey Mike thanks for the video, I have a concern. I've been out of the web development field since 2013 due to taking a job at a higher rate to take care of my family. Now that things are financially better I'm considering getting back to the creative field. Is web development still a good career for a person to try to get back into in their 40s? Is it a overestimated market? Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

The tech market is still hot and in-demand. UI/UX as well as Web Development (i.e. Front-End ...HTML/CSS/JavaScript). If you UI/UX or Front-End Dev skills, you'll have opportunities.

    Hi Mike,
I have two questions, first, If I did UX process and I found the well-theme which is matched to that UX, May I tell about that in interview? Second, If some apps cause of problems in company did not release, What should I do, how can I talk about app which does not exist? Thank you so much..
