Dave Thiel Timelapse 4 Abstract Art

This is 4 of 20 time-lapse videos featuring local Buffalo NY artist Dave Thiel. Liquitex acrylic paint products are used by Dave to create his abstract expressionist art. Dave has used Liquitex products for the past 3 years and has produced more than 300 finished works. You will see his process from blank canvas to finished works. In this case, Dave is using a thrift store canvas with gesso over the top to create a "new" canvas. Inspired by many of the greats in abstract art before him, Dave has produced an endless variety of work in sizes ranging from 4" x 6" to 4' x 8'. His 3' x 4' pieces are the public's choice for larger wall spaces.
