I was married for over 20 years, wifey passed away in 2019, and so, I do a lot of cooking, these days myself now that I'm single, using all your recipes. It's been a GREAT PLEASURE finding you on TH-cam.

    Hi! I'm Brazilian and in the state I live (Bahia) the influence of African culture is strong! We have delicious plates created by African people, like caruru, vatapá, feijoada. I'll try this recipe too. Love your chanel! xo

      Caruru is my favorite. You basically eat it with Acaraje aka Akara (In Yoruba). Bahia indeed have huge Yoruba influence. We're family indeed.

    I also did not see any chilli peppers in the video, but it is listed in the ingredients list.
    Your recipes are easy to follow and I appreciate the minimal ingredients that you use. However, I do feel like you leave out important information such as seasoning measurements and how you grilled your beef.
    Thank you for the content!

      It mostly depends on personal taste and how big your pot is; kg or lb of meat and how much chilli etc u can tolerate. Always check and add more or less if needed

    Thanks so much for this recipe - I can not wait to try it and will use it the next time I make stew. I love roasted garlic and normally slice a bit of the head off, cover in foil and add a bit of olive oil. I tend to add a lot so I can use the garlic infused olive oil for garlic bread and other things. I can't wait to incorporate this method. I like the idea of roasting the veggies at the same time the meat is boiling. Thanks for sharing.

    Hello. Can you please put on your videos the quantities of spices and especially salt. I’ve spent most of the day cooking this and been really looking forward to it. I’ve just eaten it and it was way too salty, it was uncomfortable to eat and I’ve had to throw the rest away. The beef adds salt through the cooking anyway but it was not clear anywhere about how much of anything to add. Nice work but it really would be a good idea. Thanks

    • @chandradagley8256
      @chandradagley8256 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I excluded the salt since there tends to be salt in bouillon and some beef stocks, it came out perfect, but if you need less, go with less bouillon and a no sodium beef stock
