it's so fun to watch them run around. Mr Wilde sure is persistent in his pursuit of Annie. I love how she doesn't give in and gives him the what for. lol I am also interested that she was a scraggy little youngster and was the last to get picked. Nobody wanted her, and thanks to your excellence, look at her now!! Pretty and smart and agile and good natured. Such a prize now. I wonder why no one wanted her? Because she was young and it would be a few years before she could be ridden? I am really loving the privilege of watching her grow.
Wow, Annie really has those fast stops and turns down pat. It is so exhilarating to watch Mr. Wilde dig in for speed running around the arena. The transition from ramped up horses to doing liberty work was an eye opener. Your effect on them was palpable through the lens. Amazing to watch, even if it is 'old hand' to you. Your instructions really help to connect the intent/effect training.
Plain and simple, they are a joy to watch. Wild thing, you make my heart sing.🎵 Never really liked that song too much, but it fits. It's by the Troggs.
Wow, such a joyful playtime! Annie is a kicking machine today. Graeme, I found it so unusual that while Annie was rolling (over and back! $3,000) Oscar Wilde stood Very close watching. And I really thought he'd get hoofed in the face. Previous videos it seemed an "unwritten rule" to stand back while any horse rolls. Rolling puts them in a vulnerable position...so was this just an isolated situation where Oscar was determined to dominate Annie? Didn't work, though did it! 😁
The more Annie grows up the highest personality she develops in addition to her powerful structure, she is so beautiful! They both are so endearing to watch!
That's fascinating how you got them to pay attention to where you wanted them to go instead of them going off and doing their own thing. At the beginning of this video I thought that was going to be "mission impossible"...but you did it!
I love watching these two Wildies playing together. Annie is becoming a real beauty. I have a filly that is ready to pony. I can use either my mare or gelding. I will have to see who works best with her. I will definitely be watching your videos for great pointers.
Annie's such a beautiful horse and I absolutely love her personality (and that cute bounce after her double barrel kicks 🤣) Honestly, I think your BC Wildies are absolutely amazing, you definitely got a lotta bang for your buck, pardon the pun 🤣
This process is so fascinating. Thank you for walking us through this. Annie has grown so much. She looks amazing with her little dreadlocks. 😄 She might be Lena sized when she is done. Love her little double barreled shotgun. Her shoulders are going to be so strong. Mr Wilde is also looking great, and he definitely has his own ideas of what's going on. He's so handsome, getting so strong. What a great pair!!
It's only geldings and they seem to trap a bit of air in their sheath and can make a movement where it will make noise. I don't think anybody knows exactly how but that's the concensus. The why is easy though and it's to indicate some form of heightened energy for the purposes of being "bigger".
Can horses be trained to follow voice commands like “come” or “stay”? If not, why do you think that is? I’m sure it boils down to “horses aren’t dogs,” but I can’t really figure it out past that. Or maybe they can be trained that way, but people have decided not to? Just curious!
Nice seeing these two together :D Do you ever shorten their tail when it gets too long / starts to touch the ground or is there a natural mechanism eg. the horses biting it off or something which will take care of it?
Incredibly rarely will I cut a horse's tail, they generally just manage it themselves through natural shedding or sometimes they'll step on the longer strands. Totally normal.
@@StableHorseTraining Thanks for the answer :D I'm trying to broaden my knowledge so your videos, comments and answers are incredibly helpful in that regard :D
I was just wondering, why haven’t you found a way to put the camera on your chest so you could be hands-free? I know you did one in the past when you talked about giving horses treats and being able to move around a bunch of horses.
Yes I know how to do that, I do it for rides too. It's not appropriate as I'd need to face my chest in the perfect direction all the time and it just doesn't work that way.
I love watching the different gaits and way the horses move
The Wildies are good on their turns.

That's what I thought - how could nobody want her? Their loss is Graeme's gain (and Annie's for having Graeme as an owner.)

I completely agree!
Goes to show you don't need to ride to keep horses fit, active and engaged. Such fun with the steaming grubby younguns🐎

Its so fun to watch Annie grow up and learn about being a horse. And it's doubly fun to watch the two wildies interact! Thanks for the video!
Boy, Annie is really looking good now.

I 'm having as much fun watching as they are doing. Thanks for "the happies"

Aww, just love these adorable Wildies! 😍 😊
They are so much fun to watch !
We might have to start calling Annie "Sandy"
Having your horse stop and wait, to remove his halter is a good idea. It's a good safety protocol. 👍
Lots of kicking but never any contact unless they mean it. They are so accurate

Such beauties. Annie is really blossoming. 💞

❤I meant to say little Annie is so precious❤
They both did really well and love Annie’s double barrel 😀
They are really thriving! I love the reach and check ins they do.
Cute kicks, Annie. She's growing up gorgeous.
Both looking good. 🤗
Mr Wildie moves nice.
💖
❤Lillian is so precious
She faked him out. Great move L'tl Annie
❤I wonder why when horses run their stomach makes a noise sometimes like it’s growling

What are the ages of the horses in order?

Are all the males geldings? Is this why they can be together?
Yes, all the males are geldings
