Mr. Wilde and Annie do have a special, unique relationship, like brother and sister having fun going back and forth with one another in a horse way. Whether part of the herd or just the two of them, like now, it's always fun to watch their playful interactions.

I hadn't noticed Mr. Wilde's colouring, just how high the black comes above his hocks and knees, looks really good on the bright bay especially in the sunshine. Great fun watching and listening to the relaxing sound of Lena munching grass, thankyou

I have always found Mr. Wilde’s tenacity and, mmmm… endurance or tolerance for being kicked or bitten so incredibly fascinating. As you know, all throughout the time Annie has grown up, Mr. Wilde has sought out attention from her and she learned to kick and she’d just kick and kick (not hard mind you) and he’d just say, “whatever” and keep pestering her. And of course they’ve come to be best friends. But he just puts up with so much because he wants, let’s say attention more than he is bothered by being kicked. Even when he was a bit younger and Luke would just unrelentingly bite Mr. Wilde’s legs but he would still come back and say, “play with me!”
Just really fascinating to me.
And Annie, oh my goodness, she’s gotten so big and she is just so beautiful. I knew she would be but what you see in your head of what could be can fall short of how things really turn out and that is definitely what happened with me. I mean almost every time I think of her I still see baby Annie, the size mocha is now or sometimes smaller. And then I see her and she is not a baby anymore.
She still has growing to do, doesn’t she? Do you think she’ll fill in more or is she done growing now?

So fun together. I heard they did a study with a huge mri that showed that horse brains process ten times slower than a human brain. Fascinating .. just reinforces why it is good to approach everything with them slowly. 🤷🏻♀️💚
Hmmm… I’m not sure I believe that. I’ve seen nothing to show evidence that horses learn 10x slower than a human

I’ve been watching your videos with an older relative who used to have horses before age/health issues. Your videos bring my loved one so much joy. Your descriptions of what is going on, which horse is which, what their behavior means, how to keep safe and the many ear rubs and fanny scratches are The Best! Cannot thank you enough. ❤

3:50 Annie has some cool moves going backwards and kicking at the same time! They took a little break at 5:06 and when Mr. Wilde went backwards at 5:30 it was with less energy. And then he walks off head low, being observed by Annie, like “what, playtime already finished, ok then”. There’s so much to observe and perhaps I saw only 1/100…
I always learn more rewatching when editing, I too feel like I miss so much in the moment and see a little bit more later.
