The little spinning hop he does is the most adorable act of aggression I've ever seen displayed by any animal. That is one spicy bun, even at his sweetest. (Edit: I just realized the sign in his cage, pure perfection.)
Actually, bunnies do binkies in 2 situations. 1. When they are happy! 2. When they are attacked/chased/in a fight (it is a way to be harder to target) Pigpoke is showing ALL the signs of that we are seeing a binky because of nr2. My heart is breaking for him, he is so unhappy. I studied etiology and warmly recommend you to find some readings about bunny behaviour to understand it better :)
They probably tell PigPoke about him. As I do with my current rabbit. I tell him about my first two bunnies and how they influenced me and he should be happy and thankful.

Oh yes!! The flying honky growl... complete with ears back, tail straight up emitting the skunk repellant!! No, not my sweet little Cupcake....oh yeah! (She is a complete cat so we buy the cat wands and she loves 'playing' bunny vs humans) We don't play her too long because it gets their nervous systems too overwhelmed but at 7 years old she is as fiesty as ever and we have to engage her a bit because she is so stinkin smart and bores easily of domestic life....who knew!) 🐇

Before the omg your bugging the rabbit people come I’d like you to read this. My rabbit does the same thing. Not always grunting and charging means they are mad or in defensive mode. It’s a form of play. I play a game called “Diggies” in which I put my hand near my rabbit when he digs and I dig too. He then grunts and tries to lightly nip me in a playful way. Usually it’s followed by a big binky or two. PigPoke has the same type of play. It’s called getting to know your rabbit. It’s fun play. You can also see the binkies and honks he is doing after displaying that he is happy playing like this. Again my rabbit does this. Rabbits will make another sound if they are stressed and bothered and in some cases this doesn’t happen because it’s play time!
Omigosh we call it "Dig-dig-digging" here. We take turns. My bunny will dig, then I'll dig. He also thumps if I'm taking too long with his food or not paying attention to him.

Ohooo, he wants to believe, too! :D I like how he "complains" until the head is pet. :D Then he protests by hopping into cage and looks back just to make sure the point is made. You can actually see it how he hops in and waits to be called xD. Love it.
Aw pigpoke! Seems a little territorial of his space haha. The grunts are so cute :) I do wanna point out though that bunnies occasionally angry binky when they're agitated, so watch out for that in case it's one of those instead of a happy binky! Just wanted to bring it up since I think not everyone knows that binkies aren't always an indication of a happy bun
@@floridagirl9064 If the rest of their body language is clearly aggressive you can tell- you can tell this bun is playing because of the binkies and also that he does stuff like turn his back to the person (vulnerable) and still let the person pet him, etc.
That and the section where the bun is close to the camera and eating, you can hear the bun honking a bit. I know that honking is a happy bunny thing, but I don’t know if there are also more honks for more than one feeling

What a vocal little dude! We just replaced my Mr. Spock whom we had to put down because of a large growth and stopped his digestive system from functioning. We now have a Han Solo! He is so different from Spock. Very much more relaxed and loving even at 10 weeks old. He is still getting used to us but learning fast. Enjoy your bun every day. Our time with them is so short but we'll worth every minute.
I have stumbled across your channel and I realized that you guys got another bunny! What a beautiful bun, they kinda remind me of my bunny, he was very feisty too but you learn to love them the way they are haha. I'm saddened to hear that Pipkin passed away, I understand how painful that must have been. Pipkin passed around the same time that mine did and seeing your beautiful comment about how you're not replacing Pipkin but creating more space in your heart to love another bunny was so beautiful. In the future I hope to adopt another bunny, I hope my bunny up in the sky won't feel too jealous, he'll always be my first love. Losing a pet will never be easy, you miss them everyday and wish they were still here. I wish I had spent more time with mine, gave him more love and everything but I couldn't. You learn to manage this pain and sorrow. The first months, I couldn't even see pictures of him. It would bring me to tears. Now I can smile at the thousands of pictures and videos I took and remember all the good times I had with him. This channel will always live to serve as a memory of Pipkin and all the funny things he did while he was with us. Pipkin will always be loved
I used to watch clips here and there on this channel, but one night I was in my van where I was going to go to sleep because I live south of Seattle and so I sometimes just sleep in my van because I work here in Seattle and it's ALOT less stressful than the morning commute. At any rate. I was on TH-cam and was watching an old onemorePlease clip of Pumpkin and thinking nothing else I scrolled down and there was the one that caught my eye -Pipken has passed.. I watched it and cried! I have my own Holland lop-earred and never in my life has a video affected me as that one did it was a clip of Pipken and his hooman and then it was over and I could only imagine how devastated she must have been. My baby's right now just below the recliner I sit in. I don't care what others think when I say that my bunny is my best friend, my heart, my reason for becoming more patient, and wanting to be a better person, and these are qualities and characteristics that I have never even entertained before or thought were a complete waste of time when I saw people who exhibited this type of behavior. I worry now and quite a bit sometimes about others especially little animals and even bugs and snails. I'm no longer the mean big and hateful guy who tried to keep everyone away from me. (Grew up in a very violent atmosphere and ran away alit to escape it). And this all because of a little rescue bunny named Vincent who I'd guard with my life.

I love seeing the happy hops. Pig Poke makes while he plays. Sometimes I thought the grunts sounded like no. But he hopped right up for more fun. It is great to see Pig Poke come out of his shell. Awwwww I loved this! My baby honks and grunts too but I've never caught it on camera! He's my little hyper boy, we play a game where I pretend to binky on all fours (I know, looks CRAZY but is so fun) and we roll around the floor or run back and forth! It's playing which is so sweet and awesome and fun, I've spent hours in the carpet with him 💙

I'm sorry to inform you that he is not having fun, this is a terrorized bunny. For you to fully understand, I want you to check out videos on "bunnies fight/attack" and you can not the similarities. And rubbing your bunnies ears is a good idea, they often like that as it mimics how bunnies groom each other :) That's a way better example on how to make your bunny happy.
my Dutch bunny, Mickey, used to bite long willow branches into 1 inch segments when I held the branch up. he would bite closer and closer until his teeth were right next to my fingers, but never bite me. his favorite game. Also he would take a small paper coffee cup and grab it at the rim and flip it over his head. so he could not see. then the more you laughed ,it would encourage him and he would keep hopping around to make you laugh! he was a HAM.we sure miss him
I laughed my behind off bcz my BunBun (the in-house Diva) does this quite a bit to my son, especially when it comes down to her stuff! Like her Blanket…. Take notice of when the charging and honking begins (the boundary of the towel on the floor)! His Zone! His Stuff! And never a bite! I love how happy he seems to have become and how secure he is with you!

My mini rex used to do this all the time when he was a baby, it was like his favourite game. He'd do the biggest binky and run back at my grunting and bouncing around my hands! Now he would rather lay down together and chew on some sticks all day

After having house rabbits for years ,this is not play 😤rabbits are pray animals that are always guarded he is guarding his self ,sudden movement in front of them makes them nervous and they have a blind spot their too so very bad to do that ,learn about rabbits subtle language,is is not a cat or dog ,it’s a pray animal so treat it like one and realise it always thinks it may get eaten ,so please don’t do those things to frighten it ,educate yourself 😤

I have stumbled across your channel and I realized that you guys got another bunny! What a beautiful bun, they kinda remind me of my bunny, he was very feisty too but you learn to love them the way they are haha.
I'm saddened to hear that Pipkin passed away, I understand how painful that must have been. Pipkin passed around the same time that mine did and seeing your beautiful comment about how you're not replacing Pipkin but creating more space in your heart to love another bunny was so beautiful. In the future I hope to adopt another bunny, I hope my bunny up in the sky won't feel too jealous, he'll always be my first love.
Losing a pet will never be easy, you miss them everyday and wish they were still here. I wish I had spent more time with mine, gave him more love and everything but I couldn't. You learn to manage this pain and sorrow. The first months, I couldn't even see pictures of him. It would bring me to tears. Now I can smile at the thousands of pictures and videos I took and remember all the good times I had with him. This channel will always live to serve as a memory of Pipkin and all the funny things he did while he was with us. Pipkin will always be loved

I used to watch clips here and there on this channel, but one night I was in my van where I was going to go to sleep because I live south of Seattle and so I sometimes just sleep in my van because I work here in Seattle and it's ALOT less stressful than the morning commute. At any rate. I was on TH-cam and was watching an old onemorePlease clip of Pumpkin and thinking nothing else I scrolled down and there was the one that caught my eye -Pipken has passed.. I watched it and cried! I have my own Holland lop-earred and never in my life has a video affected me as that one did it was a clip of Pipken and his hooman and then it was over and I could only imagine how devastated she must have been. My baby's right now just below the recliner I sit in. I don't care what others think when I say that my bunny is my best friend, my heart, my reason for becoming more patient, and wanting to be a better person, and these are qualities and characteristics that I have never even entertained before or thought were a complete waste of time when I saw people who exhibited this type of behavior. I worry now and quite a bit sometimes about others especially little animals and even bugs and snails. I'm no longer the mean big and hateful guy who tried to keep everyone away from me. (Grew up in a very violent atmosphere and ran away alit to escape it). And this all because of a little rescue bunny named Vincent who I'd guard with my life.

Awwwww I loved this! My baby honks and grunts too but I've never caught it on camera! He's my little hyper boy, we play a game where I pretend to binky on all fours (I know, looks CRAZY but is so fun) and we roll around the floor or run back and forth! It's playing which is so sweet and awesome and fun, I've spent hours in the carpet with him 💙

I'm sorry to inform you that he is not having fun, this is a terrorized bunny. For you to fully understand, I want you to check out videos on "bunnies fight/attack" and you can not the similarities.
And rubbing your bunnies ears is a good idea, they often like that as it mimics how bunnies groom each other :) That's a way better example on how to make your bunny happy.
What a ferocious beast! Rabbits show us a they can fit lot of personality in a small space.
my Dutch bunny, Mickey, used to bite long willow branches into 1 inch segments when I held the branch up. he would bite closer and closer until his teeth were right next to my fingers, but never bite me. his favorite game. Also he would take a small paper coffee cup and grab it at the rim and flip it over his head. so he could not see. then the more you laughed ,it would encourage him and he would keep hopping around to make you laugh! he was a HAM.we sure miss him

After having house rabbits for years ,this is not play 😤rabbits are pray animals that are always guarded he is guarding his self ,sudden movement in front of them makes them nervous and they have a blind spot their too so very bad to do that ,learn about rabbits subtle language,is is not a cat or dog ,it’s a pray animal so treat it like one and realise it always thinks it may get eaten ,so please don’t do those things to frighten it ,educate yourself 😤
