Also according to the new rci guidelines one can become a clinical psychologist only after two years of masters as mphil would be discontinued, my question is if I want to do that then would only pursuing a master's from tiss according t the new guidelines make a clinical psychologist?
that notice has been deleted so there is still uncertainty. the notice which (now retracted) you're talking about has clearly mentioned 4 years of BA Psychology hons, then MA clinical psychology. this why they said to do bridge course of 1 year for 3 year UG student but that notice has deleted so I still is unclear that how someone will become clinical psychologist. The RCI is still evaluating the situation to accommodate with UGC, meanwhile the M Phil is still in continuation for next two session 2024-25 & 2025-26
@@ShivamQHD I know all of this and that is the reason I was asking this question, I asked my professors about the bridge course in my college but they didn't respond and I'm going to graduate in 2025 so idk whether I should go and pursue my masters or do a bridge course first
@@sayedayesha709 when rci is not certain about the elgibility then how can you expect your from your professors. if your college offers 4 year UG (NEP) transition like DU has option 3 year UG students can opt for 4th year option. otherwise get ready for CUET-PG 2025. this bridge course is beyond my understanding and there are no prominent colleges are doing that.
I have not done my bachelor's in psychology so can I do some diploma in psychology and then apply for TISS? Which colleges offered diploma with having psychology in UG
nope, last year i checked they had a criteria for the applicants to have already studied psychology as a subject for 3 semesters at least. but for this year you can read in their website
