- Hi everyone. Today we are looking at the very rare Italian Armed Forces 24 hour ration (module D). This is a very large and well organised ration and is meant to provide excellent food and accessories. In this video we'll go through all the components and taste test this interesting ration. I'm very excited about this one as I'm been searching for one for a while. To find one with such a recent expiry date was a rare find!

You could try the german one. It was completely changed lately and is quite controversial.

Thanks very much. They are quite hard to find. Sometimes they pop up on eBay, but most have expiry dates of 2019/2020. 🇮🇹👍🏼

Regarding the jelly beef was a great classic of families in the 70s and 80s but now a little disappeared, but i see it still goes strong in military. Not surprised that italian and french rations are the best, we are both terribly sensitive about food (our food !!) and food itself is a sort of "spiritual" connection with our roots.

Would you have some recommendations on ration packs that are equivalent in flavor and that aren’t rare?
I’d say the French rations are the best and these days aren’t so rare (lots on eBay). Otherwise, I really like the Russian MREs (again easily available). I hope that helps. Have a great weekend Casey 😊☀️👍🏼
I'd say French as well from what I've seen, they are gourmet compared to all others.

Yeah, anyway lol, for Italian food I can imagine most Italian military sorts would cry at that lot lol. It's not what I'd have expected from them. The French will always win when it comes to mre's.
As for the little cooker, they designed for mess tins, not can, el stupido, mumma gonna slappa you silly 😂
😂 Maybe not like Mama makes, but I'm sure they'd much prefer this, to the artificial tasting stuff in the US, Canadian and British MREs. Maybe not quite up the standard of the French rations, but well organised and tasty. Definitely in the upper half of the rations out there. Have a great weekend!
