Strange, while the manual says White Rice is 60 min, your rice took only 30 min.
Mine takes me 30 mins with 3/4 rice and 1 cup water. Maybe using more water and rice takes longer?

The rice result depends on how much water you add
Also washing your rice can help prevent it from being mushy☺️
