Thank you so much ! My Forester is a 2l automatic Petrol 150hp. This is the 4th generation (SJ). I bought it in 2015 with 400 kilometers on the clock. Today there are almost 100,000. I have never had a breakdown or anything broken. I took some precautions as I explain in my latest video... without it, things would have been very different for sure. I had to replace some prematurely worn parts earlier than expected. The brake pads and discs, the universal joint bellows have to be changed every 100,000 kilometres, I did it at 80,000. For the moment, this vehicle's reputation for reliability has not been denied.
I have done 90,000 kilometers. My engine is a 2 liter atmospheric. In mixed consumption (city, expressway) it takes a little less than 10L / 100 driving reasonably. It takes 8 liters on the highway and about 15 off-road. I have never calculated with precision. These are estimates but I must be very close to reality. I have been doing maintenance at Subaru for 9 years, no oil leaks or even excessive consumption. No failures to report.
I find this noise strangely satisfying, when I get it. All I hear is money well spent 😁
Absolument d'accord ! 😁👍
I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks for the nice videos. May I ask did you break any part of the forrester for going off-road regularly?
Thank you so much !

@@tsfjo4x4.thesubaruforester3 thank you for your reply and it is very helpful.
You're welcome. Have fun !
First thought ‘i need a akid plate as well’. Second thought ‘maybe first mudflaps and some more courage before i need one’.
I am planning to buy a forester but there are many complaints about the consumption and leakage of engine oil, what are your experiences?

ufffff
That noise hurts my stomach ! 😕
Et du coup, y a eu de la casse ?
Aucune. Le ski de protection a parfaitement joué son rôle.
@@tsfjo4x4.thesubaruforester3 C'est une protection moteur/boîte ou une complète ?
Moteur boîte et direction. Origine Subaru.
