- Thrift with Me! I'm back with more Goodwill thrift #shopping finds from the store in St. Louis Park, MN. Watch since there are too many treasures to mention here. Some bargains found include a mid-century modern glass bowl, vintage #toys, ceramic figurines and solid hardwood furniture. Plus, don't miss the Mikasa crystal candlesticks left on the shelves for you to buy. In one aisle, I find Willow Tree collectible pieces and Josef Originals that are highly sought after. I also show you how to identify Lladro knock-offs and I reveal the misfortune of an Effanbee doll that I discovered. Watch as I show you the Effanbee mark and where to find it.

LOVE these relaxed, more spontaneous videos of you thrifting. You seems to enjoy it and are relaxed. This is a good way to teach. I have picked up some real pointers. I don't know why people buy trashy, pressed board furniture from cheap stores when there is so much well-made, solid wood finds at the thrift stores. They just need to be cleaned up and refinished. ❤

I am amazed at how sparse the shelves are. My Goodwill is stacked, you have to spend lots of time digging under and over to not miss the buried treasures. Best one I ever went to was in Peoria At, when I lived there. Lots of snowbird people would bring their goods, then thin out when settled into new home in AZ. Lots of wealth and tons of things. I made some good pocket change reselling back when I lived there. Love my Vancouver WA stores. Hubby just wishes I stay out and save money. Lol

I think that artist case was our families! we donated all over to goodwill in St Louis Park, Brooklyn Center/Park after dad passed away and the property sold. they were collectors. they went to flea markets and their house was stuffed full of things. Crystal, glass, jewelry, furniture, porcelain, haviland China, Bavarian China, China China China China coming out of our ears. My mom loved glass and she collected everything she could find. and of course she loves jewelry to and then they lived out by lake Minnetonka and went to the garage sales and flea markets on that neck of the woods. and there was a lot of money out there.

I found a Meissen 1959 nurse figurine for 75¢.Unfortunately one arm was broken and glued back on. Not sure if it has any value but at that price I don't care and it gives me a reference to the quality and workmanship to look for in Meissen.

You've given me so much great advice from watching you over the years that I think it's my turn to try and give you some.... Your feet and legs, I know just by looking at them that your legs and feet were in pain by the end for sure. I know this because my feet and heal did the same thing i see yours doing and my ankles would swell and if I ever had to just stand that was the worst, so last year I tried those sketchers ARCH FIT (arch fits is key, not just any sketchers) and OMG I cannot tell you just how much they help. I mean i swear by them no, if I'm out shopping, cleaning at home, or just know I'll be on my feet a lot then I make sure I have them on and it make a world of difference. So, if anything I've said sounds similar, then I'm telling you they are worth the money and to get online or go get a pair, your feet will thank you.
