You know, you really can spend all day in a thrift store. A thrift store is a treasure hunt.❤😊
So true! And I have spent many days there.
I love you dr. Lori. My mom was an antiques lover and even though she didnt go to school to know what you know she gave me an appreciation for it as a little girl born in 1976. You however made me love antiques even more as a 48 year old woman. Thank you much sweet lady. My mom was a plus size women with the same build and i think you are precious. Love that east coast humor and personality. Btw i live in oregon anc i think you are hilarious! Best wishes to you! Love your videos. Even my husband is starting to like thrifting and learning so much!!!
DEAR DR. LORI!! SO HAPPY TO FIND U AGAIN. YOU are❤ AWESOME
You are a gem. Thank you for the information.
You are so welcome!
Love the German lusterware bowls
Thanks for showing us all that you find and leaving it for us to buy. Thanks Dr Lori. I appreciate you❤❤❤.
Thanks for taking me shopping with you. I am learning lots of pointers for buying things for my personal use.
You make a lot of sense. People is going crazy buying stuff for in thrift stores and sell them on online platforms. The sellers even tell the buyers how much they paid, and the crazy thing is the buyers bit each other for things that they can get them self.
Thank you Miss Lori for all of your knowledgeable videos. I am learning so much and enjoying myself at the same time! Can’t beat it! I find myself searching for a new video of yours every day.
You are Awesome, Dr. Lori!! Can't ever just watch one at a time. Usually becomes binge❤
Thanks for letting us know the difference between gravy and sauce dishes! I thought I had a gravy bowl, nope!
Happy to help!
Thanks bunches Dr Lori 😊
I love, love, love your videos! Gotta tell you something funny. Several years ago, I had my canvas Michael Kors bag, with the MK initials emblazoned all over it. While at my ophthalmologist’s office, in the waiting room, a woman asked me if my bag were a “Mary Kay” tote. My daughter, Kyle, and you’ve met Kyle, said that the expression on my face was priceless. It was one of those, “Whaaaaah?” looks. I didn’t want to embarrass that questioning woman, so I just said, “It’s not.”
BTW…Kyle says, “Hey!”
P.S. Had I been thinking and no so taken aback by that woman’s question, I should have replied, “ Hell yes! Damn straight! Didn’t you see my pink Cadillac in the parking lot???”
In retrospect, it was better that I didn’t reply like that because that woman, who was waiting on her husband, in the doctor’s exam room, was older than I, and frail. She would probably have burst into tears and bolted for the door. LOL!!!
Gotta inject humor in life, when we can. My mother taught me that. My mother was an “only child,” having been adopted by her childless aunt and uncle, because both of her parents died by the time she was three. Now, Momma was rearing four sons and one daughter; me. Never will I forget the levity Momma brought into my world. Now, SHE was PRICELESS!

Hi, Dr. Lori! I LOVE your videos and fun personality! I purchased a set of Gold China, Made in Japan, pattern EMBASSY, this morning at an estate sale for $10. The set is FLAWLESS with over 100 pieces including a teapot, sugar bowl, serving platter, oval serving bowl, dinner plates, teacups, and a covered soup tureen. I saw this identical pattern on a current Ebay listing, and they are asking $250 (which I know means nothing if it hasn't sold yet, and this set shows some wear per the seller and with less pieces than I have (72 pcs). The sellers' description says very rare and vintage. I must agree since that is the only thing I see online with this exact pattern! Would love to send you a photo of the entire collection and ask for your opinion of what I should list it for online. Thanks in advance for your help and please keep your awesome videos coming!
You can send me photos using a form on my website. Have you watched my video -- "Stop Quoting eBay Listings! I’m Sick of It and Here is Why" at th-cam.com/video/mDBSI2wV0gk/w-d-xo.html ?
Best gal for worth n peicing
Come on down and see me in West Virginia! Sister city Marietta Ohio full of treasure!
The gravy boat matches my China…same.
Good advice
Interesting that all the china that she looked at had the mark clearly visible on the underside. At the Goodwill I go to, the label is ALWAYS placed over the mark, like they are doing it intentionally.
Love your show! Learn so much thank you

❤️❤️❤️
I wish you would come to Southern California the prices are 3 times , back east is charging.
PLEASE come to Brooklyn!!?
💙
Love to return! Get a group or venue to host me. That's how my events get scheduled.
Love watching your super informative content but I bought a storage unit a year or so ago and had a few paintings one I belive is a oil on board signed Hill 1956 which I belive is by Derek Hill but how would I best confirm this and best course of action to sell lol
I can help, but need to see the piece. I also offer classes on reselling. Check out my website for the details about how you can show me the piece and how you can take my next class.
@Dr.Lori Could you share where you are seeing the quotes for the Boyd's Bear? When i look up listed and sold on ebay for the same bear you showed, i see ~$12.00 and under buy it now. Is there another platform that returns higher for Boyd's.
Have you watched my video "Stop Quoting eBay Listings! I’m Sick of It and Here is Why" at th-cam.com/video/mDBSI2wV0gk/w-d-xo.html ? Have you considered taking my classes on reselling where I talk about this topic?
@DrLoriV Thank you. I had not seen that video. I am new to your channel. You are so generous with your knowledge.
❤
I wish the resale shops here in Missouri were as cheap
I really enjoyed your videos. Always informative. I will say that I have found treasures and unique finds , however, it seems the hunt had to be expanded geographically. The goodwill or other thrift outlets are well not good. My trash is someone's treasure, maybe ... Maybe it's just trash. I am glad your thrifting adventure brings you and the viewing audience knowledge and entertainment.
Thanks for sharing!
Not to throw cold water, but things are only "worth" what someone else is willing to pay for them. At 3:05 she says a Johann Haviland gravy boat is worth $45. I couldn't help but wonder how many real buyers there are out there for such things, so out of curiosity checked Ebay. Found a listing for the exact same gravy boat, new and unused, for which the seller was asking $24. It remains unsold.
That’s correct and my values are based on actual sales what people really paid. Believe what you want. Lose money when reselling. Have you watched my video -- "Stop Quoting eBay Listings! I’m Sick of It and Here is Why" at th-cam.com/video/mDBSI2wV0gk/w-d-xo.html ?
Hi
Our goodwill on Cape Cod is a dump looks like what people put in dumpster
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What ifi do not sell it. I
May want to keep it.😊
Dr. Lori,
How do I get rid of my and my mother's vintage stuff? thanks
I offer reselling classes on this topic. Have you checked out my website for the next scheduled class?
Where you do recommend selling these kinds of things besides eBay?

What are the real Hummels worth
Do you have Hummels that you are trying to value? I can help! Need to see them. Many factors affect value. Check out my website to see how you can show me Hummels.
That haviland gravy boat is worth about $15 plus shipping....basically worthless...NO MONEY in reselling that at all.
My values are based on actual sales what people really paid. Believe what you want. Lose money.
First!!
First??? Heck! It’s time to throw a party, and you better invite me!
@@ameliareaganwright2758 you know I’ll invite you friend!!
I like your videos but think you really overestimate what things will actually sell for.
