ive honestly never been a cheater but when people assume that i am because i am a nurse its hard for me to even reply because cheating is very common in our profession and i was kinda blown away when i first started to notice it. i imagine musician stuff definitely like that as well. i think work relationships or relationships outside of your household can naturally be kind of volatile in places that have you spending more time with your coworkers than you are at home and dealing with high pressure or adrenaline filled situations because its just a natural side effect of the circumstances. for whatever reason a lot of people end up having a sexy time outlet with a colleague lol

My dad is a serial cheater and my family is in the exact same situation… minus the fame. He only stopped cheating on my mom after we all found out he was having a son… while I was pregnant with his first grandkid. I hope his family and kids are able to heal and find peace in their new normal.
I’m so sorry. I was taking care of my Aunt & Uncle while they were in hospice. Married 45 years, no kids, both very ill. I get a strange phone call from a strange number. Adult woman said her mom & she were friends with my sick uncle. I take my husband and met the lady at a restaurant. You’ve probably guessed…this 40 yo woman tells me that he raised her & her sister. Her mother, his bookkeeper/secretary had an affair with my uncle for over 20 years! Quite shocking and made the hospice journey even more difficult.

Helped their mom buy a house, etc. The adult kids were nice as they knew what was going on. Their mom was also very sick. They all wanted to say goodbye to my uncle. I was power of attorney and executor.. I had my aunt & uncle both in the same small, private hospice. I understood the need for a final goodbye but I wasn’t going to destroy my aunt with this knowledge just a mere two months from her death. My husband and I took my uncle to a local restaurant. We stayed back a little and ;let the four of them say goodbye. I felt a little dishonest but my aunt was bed bound and starting the dementia phase. She was easily agitated. I also talked with the hospice social worker who supported the idea. Unfortunately the two families were also financially intertwined. The adult daughters and I worked through all of that amicably but it cost a bit in legal fees. About two months later I was with my aunt when she died. I went to my uncle’s room to tell him. He was Very sad and broken. The next morning I get a call from hospice. My uncle ate breakfast. They went to get his tray only to find that he was dead. Exactly 24 hours after my aunt died. I had a double funeral for them. About three months later I heard from the other family. Their mom had also passed away.
I can only imagine how difficult it is to navigate a relationship with your half sibling. It’s not their fault they were born out of an affair yet they’re usually shunned from the cheaters’ family. It’s the (selfish) cheater who didn’t think how their cheating would affect their family. Sucks all around.
