Same! 100%. I had an issue where a person I knew could stop talking about how much they and their SO boink. Not only was it annoying, but like why the F do I care!? I’d say our relationship definitely was affected by that. It was an entire weekend of this being the only subject. Hated it! It was mostly one sided. Kourtney rubbed me the wrong way when Scott's parents died a month apart from each other and instead of consoling him she demanded he hurry up and do something about his parents house and belongings. After that I really didn't like her. The whole PDA in front of her kids is just sickening and the way she dismiss their feelings on it speaks volumes.

I remember that she asked him if he wanted another child after his parents died and he said no; he looked so depressed and looked like he was on the edge of a downward spiral. She got pregnant not long after that. I always thought it was shady because I feel like she didnt respect his wishes or is obvious mental health issues and I didnt think it was an accident.
If parents are sexual infront of their kids it’s actually a type of sexual abuse so say therapist.
So PDA is ok. Seeing parents hug, say I love u and a kiss.. fine.. but full on French kissing and tongue, groping, and sounds is way beyond PDA and borderline sexually inappropriate for children.

They’re doing one of two things…coming from a psychologist…1) you’re either going to make your children have an aversion to sexual behavior, because it’s too much for a child to keep witnessing, even though they’ve asked for you to stop. Or 2) you’re going to make your child over-sexualized, because that’s all they’ve seen, and they think it’s normal behavior from an early age. A simple kiss is not a problem, but full blown making out in front of your children every chance you get is disgusting, and bordering on child sexual abuse. Not every kid is going to like their parents kissing, but they take it waaaay too far!

I grew up in an overly sexualized house. My dad talked about it like nothing and not in a “educational” way. He would talk about his partners and things that they did and make jokes. Now that I think about it I shouldn’t have been allowed with him. But it was the 80’s and people didn’t agree with the way he spoke around me but didn’t say anything. It made me so uncomfortable when it came to sex and kissing.
I’ve been married 26 yrs. Married at 18 and he was my first and only kiss. He was so careful too even at that age he had more maturity than my dad. Letting me take the lead of when we kissed. We have 4 kids and we will hug and peck goodbye because I wanted to give them that healthy relationship. Because my moms side doesn’t show affection or say “I love you” we felt like we had to change how both sides are with our kids. Now my kids are adults. All in their 20’s and we will jokingly act like we make out. They know we are joking but they still say “eew”. Even that we are careful not to make them feel uncomfortable.

But, North grows to be like mini Kanye as we see how she gets her sass and sarcastic attitude from him when she owns her mom.

I read a post on Instagram written by a child's therapist and she was talking about parents that act like this in front of the kids or even "do it" in the same bedroom thinking that the kid is asleep. She said this is considered a form of abuse and many of them develop trauma because of that and lots of horrible symptoms, as she recognized in their sessions. Absolutely horrible.

I’m all for single parents finding their true love but find it in your children first. I’ve always thought that her Travis relationship would negatively affect her children because of how immature she behaves with him. It’s disgusting and she should establish boundaries when she’s around her kids.
That scene with Rain being VISIBLY uncomfortable around them is very telling of Travis as a step parent. You don’t teach your kids “healthy relationships” by sucking face all day. Show them healthy relationships by respecting their boundaries, their feelings! How your child feels should always come before the needs and expectations of the step parent PERIOD. It will always make a child feel uncomfortable seeing their parent be affectionate with someone that is not their biological parent. She’s selfish.

As someone who grew up with my dad refusing to even hold my mother's hand I do think it's important to show the loving side of the parents towards each other. This does not mean making out with each other a kiss, hug, holding hands those are far more appropriate.

Listen, as someone who entered a relationship with someone with a kid. It's not easy, it took my now son (stepson) about a year or 2 for him to see and understand I'm not a bad person. I knew of him instantly, NEVER once asked to meet him, I knew I had to take my time with it. And it was and is well worth it!

Not because I care about these idiots, but because I feel for their kids. 1) you’re a grown adult and a parent, your mommy doesn’t make your decisions, you do! 2) most children, if integrated properly, can handle having a new step parent, my children were fine because I took things slowly over a matter of years. 3) you don’t leave your kids out of your wedding, that’s a massive life step, they will forever remember and feel like they weren’t important enough to be there. 4) when you are no longer with someone; whether they call, text, or try to give you ish, you keep moving on with your life and don’t hide things from your kids because you’re afraid of your children’s father. These poor kids look and feel like they are a second to the camera and attention, not being put first, and treated the way they should. YOU ARE A PARENT, THESE ARE YOUR CHILDREN, GET IT TOGETHER!!!! As a mother, I’m embarrassed! People really should have to get parenting licenses!
