Enjoyed watching you play brother! I have the as93fm model. Really find it to be a great guitar. Couldn't afford another ES335 which I kick myself for selling in 1973. Oh well, hindsight and all that!
Been playing Ibanez guitars since the mid 70's...was a Les Paul lawsuit copy that was an excellent guitar….and I’m still playing a few models AR520, AM93, plus 5 or so acoustics.
Nice. I’ve reviewed a number of Ibanez models over the past couple of years, made in both Japan and Indonesia, and the quality has been great. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Leonard, I've been looking for a semi-hollow and your excellent video inspired me to go ahead and order an AS113. They say I might see it in 9 months haha but you convinced me it'll be worth the wait.
That's a really nice one, thanks for another great review! A few years ago I was looking for a semihollow that didn't break the bank. I happened to find a second-hand Korean-made AS-120, probably not quite as nice as the 113, but very very close. Great sounding super 58 pickups too... Ibanez never disappoints.
Nice guitar! I have 2 older Artstar and Artcore semi hollows. They are very well made and mine have gotten better with age. Thanks for posting. These are underrated guitars and overlooked by many newer players.
Another nice review and demonstration of the tones! About 8 or 10 years ago I had the AS153 model which I really liked a lot, ended up trading for a '62 Gibson ES330 project guitar that needed a lot of work, a money pit. I should have kept that Ibanez, they are well made, play and sound great as you showed. 👍
Not a bad idea. Of course I’m not sponsored so guitars I review are bought for the purpose, and I always have to keep that in mind and use my limited funds wisely.
That name on your T-shirt. Is that the reggae band "Pluto"? I sat in(covering for a friend who mixed for the band) mixing at "Sundays at the Bay" on key Biscayne Fla., back in '87 for a band called "Pluto". Just curious!!
No, it has nothing to do with music. Just a funny commentary on how Pluto was a planet forever then It was decided it wasn’t. I’m a little bit of a science nerd. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much. Amp is my Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb, which has surprised a lot of people. LOL I produced a video on it about 7 months ago and I’ll be doing a follow up soon to commemorate 2 years of service. Here’s a link to my previous video: th-cam.com/video/KotnnHWPSBY/w-d-xo.html
They’re both nice quality, but feel very different. My preference would be the T486 with its neck profile and Seymour Duncan pickups. But it’s really going to come down to which neck you prefer.
Despite both being traditional semi-hollows, they’re actually quite different. The Ibanez neck feels bigger and wider for one thing. Quality is close so it’ll come down to which feels better to you. I haven’t tried the Sire with he humbuckers so I can’t comment on the pickups and I would guess those will just be a matter of taste as well.
@Leonard Griffie Blues Thank you very much for the feeback. Much appreciated. I guess then I will probably go with the Sire for the price and narrower neck as my hand (asian hand :3) is probably smaller than yours.
Thank you so much for this review. I also enjoyed the way you talk, very classy and smooth.
You left me no choice but to subscribe. Best regards!
Thank you so much. Greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, I know all about hindsight. Thanks so much.
Once again, you’ve revived a beautiful guitar! Sweet sounds supplemented by great playing! Thx for these great reviews!!
Thanks, I appreciate the appreciation. 😊

What do you think about Ibanez acoustic guitars? I want to buy one.
@@atpr500Wish I could help. Unfortunately I really don’t have any experience with Ibanez acoustics.

9 months? Wow, I had no idea those were so thin on the ground. Hopefully it won’t be that long. Thanks so much for watching.

Thanks. Those AS120s are solid, good sounding guitars. I had a Korean made Artstar in the 90s which I liked very much.

Yes, I’ve been impressed with the Artstars and even the Artcores for a long time now. Thanks so much for watching.
I own an Ibanez AS153, which is similar to the 113 and it's one of the best built guitars I've ever owned. Great playing!
Thank you. Enjoy that nice AS 153.
Both lovely guitars, awesome for the money. I own an AS113. Very nearly nearly bought the last revision AS153. Couldn't go wrong with either.

Thanks. Yes, it’s a nice guitar.
Love this dude

Nice. I hope you love it and thanks for watching.
This looks a seriously nice guitar for the money - very tempting, great review!
Thank you.
Enjoyed this very much. Thank You Sir! Best Regards and Best Wishes!
Thank you my friend.
Great playing!
Thank you my friend. 😎
I have as AS113. Great guitar!! Replaced my AGS83 with one!
Great choice. Thanks so much for watching.
Great review and playing, but I wish you'd demoed the isolated sounds clean.
Thanks for the input. I do a little more of that now. Thanks for watching.
please do a review with The Ibanez AS 93 , comparing with the Epiphone ES 335!!!
Not a bad idea. Of course I’m not sponsored so guitars I review are bought for the purpose, and I always have to keep that in mind and use my limited funds wisely.

I like the tone, thanks for the review! What amp were you using?

Thanks Leonard! which is more worth buying as113 or T486?
They’re both nice quality, but feel very different. My preference would be the T486 with its neck profile and Seymour Duncan pickups. But it’s really going to come down to which neck you prefer.
Lovely.👌
Thanks so much for watching.
It sounds great to me - all the 335 one could ever need.
Yes, quite nice. Thanks for watching.
Would this be a good choice blues/bluesy rock?
I don’t see why not. It basically does what a 335 does so it just depends on what sounds you’re looking for.
How does this compare with the Sire H7?
Despite both being traditional semi-hollows, they’re actually quite different. The Ibanez neck feels bigger and wider for one thing. Quality is close so it’ll come down to which feels better to you.
