Here's a relaxing hair video for you. I straighten and brush my hair, style it, and then brush your hair as well while whispering comforting things to you and rambling about my day. This video ended up being a bit more random that I had intended, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. More to come soon, along with the promised second microphone test. :)

This video reminds me of those blissful days before ASMR blew up. It felt like a secret club, and it was exciting when you found a new video. For me, Violet is still one of the best ASMR creators on TH-cam, even after all this time.

Yeah I felt unique because no one seemed to know what it was. The selection of videos were small. Violet is my favorite too. She's a natural. I think I got desensitized because my asmr reaction is pretty weak. It used to go crazy, I miss that.

Every now and then, when absolutely nothing else works to help me fall asleep, I come back to this video. Can't believe how many years it's been since it was first uploaded...
Yeah, this artist WAS special. And despite her absence, her channel remains, and her videos STILL work on me to this day. Nothing but gratitude. Hoping that she is out there somewhere, happy and well.
9 years later, this video is still one of my all times favorite. The casualness, the closeness, the overall calm... make me so happy and relaxed every time I watch it.

This video is still better than 99.9% of ASMR videos these days. And this was in the beginning before it even became a well known term. First video for me, and still the best probably.

Violet was a pioneer of ASMR. Asmr folks learn a lot from her technique. In the many years I have watched asmr she is one of the best. A kind and caring person.
i first found this video about 8-9 years ago. i fell in love and listened to all these videos several times. over the years, i forgot about it, but today i was struggling to sleep and it popped into my head. now here i am... falling in love all over again.

It's so interesting how this was almost everyone's first ASMR video, it was mine as well. I remember getting pleasant tingles when I was younger, then a few years back I watched a hair tutorial where the girl was brushing along her scalp and parting her hair with her nails and it gave me the tingles. I typed in to youtube "girl brushing hair", feeling like a creep, then I found this video and watched it and suddenly it all clicked. Thus began my journey into ASMR; the most helpful stress and sleep aid ever.

It has come full circle! The first intentional ASMR video I'd ever watched. Didn't even know what it was called. I discovered it by accident. To see it recommended to me again now with thousands of asmrtists to choose from is amazing. And to look and sound so nostalgically ten years old... Well anyway, hello to everyone else again.

This was the first ASMR video I ever watched. I used to watch makeup and hair tutorials to help me relax and I had no idea there was a whole genre of videos dedicated to ASMR and relaxation. I didn’t even know their was a name for tingles lol. So thank you for introducing me to this world a decade ago.
I first started with makeup tutorials as well before I discovered asmr. This was one of the first ones I discovered.
This is hands down an old video that still gives me such chills.!it’s a go-to for a nap or sleep. Hope she is well.❤

This was the first ASMR video I ever watched back in 2013, when I didn’t understand what I was watching. 6 years later and it’s still the video I revisit the most.

This is still one of my absolute favourite videos from Violet. Her voice is perfect for me. Just the right pitch. Super soothing. I listen to it at least a couple of times a week. Out of all the ASMR videos I've seen, I always end up coming back to this one the most. The sound levels, along with the amount of talking and brushing (not necessarily at the same time) is just perfect. Even the lack of background noise, the pitch of the voice, and the distance of the camera... simply one of the best out there.
I still love this video. It’s core ASMR without anything distracting. Still use it to have a good night’s sleep.

I dont think i could live without this channel. My stress just melts away listening to her. I often times find myself talking to the screen despite how stupid i know it sounds. When she said that everything goes wrong for her i was all "Ohhh that was so sad sounding!" instantly wanted to give out a hug right there

The hair straightening is actually the opposite of relaxing for me because usually when I see a girl doing it it means we were supposed to have left the house 5 minutes ago.
