Great tutorial, you look amazing. I didn't know this until a few years ago, but the sponges are meant to be used wet. You wet them, squeezing out the water and it will triple in size. It saves you money because not as much product gets soaked into the sponge, and your skin (although it is hard to believe it would be any more beautiful) would look airbrushed.
I roll it in a towel as well you don't want it soaking wet just double in size and damp. You bounce it on your skin, tap tap tap. It will be perfect for you because you don't like a heavy look.
You guys should try the Beauty Blender! I'm like maria, I've never really found much success with foundation brushes. Beauty blender is the best sponge out there, try sephora.

I can finally see how I need to map out my eye and get over my fear of not going past the lash line too far. All this time, I haven't been going far enough. Its a pain to find makeup that fits pale skin. Even the "lightest" type of foundation becomes yellow and too dark. So I have just started using concealer haha
me too, any foundation i try is either to yellowy or too orange or too pink :/ now i just use a bb cream or very light foundation with concealer and it works great :)
+meow ? Have you tried the Mineralized Moisture Foundation in NW13 by Mac? It's extremely pale! I'm very pale myself but sometimes it's even too pale for me haha! it's great because it can be anything from sheer to full coverage depending on how much you use :) You should check it out if you haven't already.

It's not that she puts on 'too much' makeup; she just has one of those faces that is very impressionable(if that makes sense). Her features are very very soft and her lips etc are also as colorless as her skin and so adding color and lines will dramatically make an impact. My coloring and features are very similar to hers and so I have that same 'issue' too. If we wear mascara, ur gonna know it right away, w/ no question!

i know this is literally 8 years later but i honestly think it’s so sad how she says *“let’s start making me pretty”* when she started the makeup. i don’t know if you are seeing this now but i want to let you know that you are so so so beautiful.
This video was made just after she had suffered years of abuse and a nasty divorce. Her confidence and sense of self had been undermined for many years. Now she is recovered, a confident woman, and she appears in her natural (no make up) state sometimes with no reference to not wearing makeup or "being pretty". She has rebuilt herself emotionally and has the confidence to appear as she wants. Many women, especially young women, could learn from this. They are afraid to be seen without make-up. I wish more women would go natural and stop letting the cosmetic industry control their self-esteem. Women do not need make-up.
I'm like you Maria, super porcelain skin! Luckily more and more brands are coming out with porcelain type shades. I've had trouble for years finding shades. I also suggest Laura Geller's Balance and Brighten Color Correcting Foundation, it's fantastic, I wear it in the lightest shade, porcelain :) but there is also fair, medium, tan, and deep. Great coverage and long wearing

Brave girl exposing your face without makeup, I admire that because it shows the natural look and I appreciate that because it kinda takes away that falseness that many men detest and you see the finished face as Art work rather than camouflage that's hiding the true you from men. I think a lot of women wouldn't dare make a video without makeup especially to deliberately show whats under the face mask. You are pretty without makeup anyway but your make up application is nice. You do a very good job.
I just discovered asmr and I'm shocked I never knew that existed. I've always had certain videos or people where I felt very relaxed and always thought it was so weird that I did that. By the way it's nice to see everyone's suggestions of videos to watch!

That is the reason why I buy higher end foundation. Haven't found a foundation from the drugstore that doesn't oxidize.

i know this is literally 8 years later but i honestly think it’s so sad how she says *“let’s start making me pretty”* when she started the makeup. i don’t know if you are seeing this now but i want to let you know that you are so so so beautiful.
This video was made just after she had suffered years of abuse and a nasty divorce. Her confidence and sense of self had been undermined for many years. Now she is recovered, a confident woman, and she appears in her natural (no make up) state sometimes with no reference to not wearing makeup or "being pretty". She has rebuilt herself emotionally and has the confidence to appear as she wants.
Many women, especially young women, could learn from this. They are afraid to be seen without make-up. I wish more women would go natural and stop letting the cosmetic industry control their self-esteem. Women do not need make-up.

I'm like you Maria, super porcelain skin! Luckily more and more brands are coming out with porcelain type shades. I've had trouble for years finding shades. I also suggest Laura Geller's Balance and Brighten Color Correcting Foundation, it's fantastic, I wear it in the lightest shade, porcelain :) but there is also fair, medium, tan, and deep. Great coverage and long wearing
I use Laura Gellar Balance and Brighten Mineral Foundation in porcelain. It's perfect for super pale skin.
Maria, I know this is an old video and you'll probably never see this, but you habe helped me as a woman accept myself so much more. I, too, am 5'10 with Pale skin and similar facial features. I always felt so insecure about my height, my near translucent skin and features. But you always look so beautiful and you seem to glow from the inside out. I adore you girl. Love you and your channel so much.
Abbie Ruth pale skin is gorgeous. I’ve learned to love my pale skin and freckles. Freckles are so beautiful. People used to make fun of me for having them, now girls are drawing them on because it’s a look. Don’t ever be ashamed 💕

Brave girl exposing your face without makeup, I admire that because it shows the natural look and I appreciate that because it kinda takes away that falseness that many men detest and you see the finished face as Art work rather than camouflage that's hiding the true you from men. I think a lot of women wouldn't dare make a video without makeup especially to deliberately show whats under the face mask. You are pretty without makeup anyway but your make up application is nice. You do a very good job.

I just discovered asmr and I'm shocked I never knew that existed. I've always had certain videos or people where I felt very relaxed and always thought it was so weird that I did that. By the way it's nice to see everyone's suggestions of videos to watch!
