Hello Gillian, I am looking for one of the original TT, I was hoping HoBao would restock the original but when it came out that they are releasing a newer version I place my pre-order. I am glad I did, but I am still looking for the original. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
@@sparetimerc In the UK the roller version of the original Hyper TT is £180 UK pounds, thats probably like $240 US. Shipping I have no idea, im not sure what stores ship to the US.
Heck yeah! Great little truggy! We have one that my son will be racing, and so far it is showing that it has plenty of potential to compete with the Tekno ET410 and Xray XT4 trucks. I would recommend that after you get a few packs through it, you should service the diffs and refill them with new fluid. My son put 7k/7k/5k in and it worked really well last Saturday. We have posted some in the Hobao Racing Discussion group, if you want to see a bit about what setup changes we habe made so far. We will have it back out for more testing next week and on track again for a race on the 7th-8th of September, and then for a few more races before the summer outdoor season ends here in Idaho. Hope you have a lot of fun with it, i know we are so far, with lots more to come! Cheers.
Hello Isaiahfurrow, thank you for stopping by to watch the video and for leaving an awesome comment. I wish we had a tack in my area, but for now I have to run it on the one I have in the back 40 (my back 3 acres). I normally run about 10 packs through most of my RCs before I change out the diffs and shock oils, as well as make some adjustments for how I run my RCs. Since this is my second Stadium truck, the first being the PR Racing SB401R-T, I am looking at the Tekno ET410, Xray XT4, I plan on changing my track a little just so I can see how they handle with jumps, and long straight aways. Thanks for the tips, I am sure I will have a lot of fun with the TT2.0. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Hey Isaiahfurrow, I think I may have accidentally removed one of your comments. It was by accident. I apologize for that. I was trying to edit my response and hit remove instead of edit.
Hey Dirk, thank you, glad you like the car. The build on the ARR rc is to take the diffs out and check them, as well as put in the electronics. Really appreciate you stopping by to watch the video. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Hi Weiss, thanks my friend. I am looking at changing the track a little bit, (little longer, add a jump or two). Thanks for watching, take care and stay safe.
Oh man Al, that thing looks terrific out on the track. I like the ARR kit as well, not a bad price on it either! It looks super beefy and durable from the pics on their site. It would be kind of cool to see two of them on the track... LOL!
Addam I'm really looking for the original Hyper TT so far I have not found one. May have to look at Amazon, now the shakedown is over time to see what it can handle. Take care and stay safe.
It is a great little truck, we have one that my son will be racing... it had a shakedown day and it's first race last weekend... we will have it back out for some testing next week, and it will be racing again September 7-8th... we have posted some in the Hobao Racing Discussion group on FB. Definitely a capable little rig!
@@isaiahfurrow7414 I really am enjoying this truggy, only ran it twice (this one and a speed run in front of my house) so far but it is a very unique 10th scale. HoBao did give me information of a hobby store that has the original still in stock I hope they are still in stock at the end of this month. Take care and good luck in you up coming races.
Hello Rcplaytime, thanks for that awesome comment, I was hoping HoBao would restock the original TT, that's the one I wanted, but when it came out that they were dropping the newer version I pre-order. Still looking for the original TT but if not may have to get a second one😅😅
Hey there RCbeast, thanks for watching. It is very stable. I just need to get these tires for my PR Racing SH401R-T. They work really well on my track. Take care and stay safe.
Hello Trey, it handled the track like a champ, next for it is to see how it does in the grass, and see what it does off the ramp and if I can get it to do a few jumps off the hill. Someone said it was really slow to be on 3s but I have not done anything to the settings or even changed the 13t pinion gear. waiting to give it a 4s run and then see what I need to do to get it to where I want it. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Jeremy, this was not my plan to take it on the track and open it up a little, but after the second lap I just could not help my self. Now that the shakedown run is over time to have some fun. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
That car looks awesome with the purple paint 🙏 what's your verdict on the car? I have been looking at Hobaos for a long time but haven't bought any yet. Nice video 👍
Hello Electricnitrorc, thanks for stopping by to watch the video. I normally run larger 10th scale vehicles. At the moment, I have 2 other RCs from HoBao, and I love them. The Hyper TT2.0 is one of those rcs that when you look at it, it doesn't seem to be durable. IT IS VERY DURABLE. I am glad I picked it up, and I have plans to find the original TT10. You can take this to the track and later bash it. It does have one small flaw. It does not like tall grass. It will get hot quickly. If you do upgrades, I suggest you pick up their ARR (almost ready to run) and add your own electronics, but if you don't do upgrades, then get the ready to run. Sorry for the long explanation. Thanks for the awesome comment/question. Take care and stay safe out there.
_Hobao low key has higher quality components with better fitting, tighter tolerances than ANYTHING Arrma or Traxxas offers in their entire lineup!_ _It is solely their name I have found that tends to turn people off or look to more mainstream because they "sound cheap".. It is actually quite the opposite too!_ _Hobao is one of the last manufactures imo. that is still putting out high quality RC's for reasonable prices here in the US!_ _Parts availability from their Texas based warehouse and online purchases should never be a problem, and they will not be going out of business anytime soon!_ *_110% Solid RC's! It's a nice 10th scale truggy, I'm gonna pick up a kit version too. I like those connectors for the electronics, would you happen to have a link so I could pick up some for my build. Cheers
Hello I4nic, thanks for stopping by to watch the video, I really appreciate it. These connectors are the Amass XT 150, they have the 6mm bullet connectors, here is the link on Amazon if you are looking to purchase. This link is not an Affiliate link, I use these on 90% of my RCs, from 10th scale to my 5th scales, for the past 3 years. a.co/d/iBjThZQ
@@sparetimerc Thank you much bud, I’ll get a set and try them on a few RC’s. They seem robust. Love your track also, you have a great setup there. Your Typhon vid was also great, made me order up a TLR Typhon roller. Cheers
Hello Borislavpenko, the 3s battery was just a 4200mAh 30c, just enough to do a shake down run, and I did not tune the esc. for me and what I do in my back 40 (backyard) the HoBao TT2.0 is better for me I can bash it off the ramp and race it on the track and then street bash. I am going to see what they both do as far as speed run (on/off road). If you are looking at something that is very robust then the HoBao TT2.0 is probably the best bet. Not say the PR SB401 isn't good but not the best for bashing.
Hobao know a thing or two about building chassis, I have the original Hyper TT. Im waiting to get the 2.0 version as soon as they land in the UK .
