From Wikipedia:
Cary is the seventh-largest municipality in North Carolina. Cary is predominantly in Wake County, with a small area in Chatham County in the U.S. state of North Carolina and is the county's second-largest municipality, as well as the third-largest municipality in The Triangle of North Carolina after Raleigh and Durham.
The town's population was 135,234 as of the 2010 census (an increase of 43.1% since 2000), making it the largest town and seventh-largest municipality statewide. As of July 2018, the town's estimated population was 168,160, though Cary is still classified a town because that is how it was incorporated with the state. Cary is the second most populous incorporated town (behind only Gilbert, Arizona) in the United States.
According to the US Census Bureau, Cary was the fifth fastest-growing municipality in the United States between September 1, 2006, and September 1, 2007. In 2015 Cary had a crime rate of 84 violent crimes per 100,000 residents. Charlotte, the largest city in North Carolina, had a violent crime rate of 648 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, almost eight times higher than Cary.
Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill make up the three primary metropolitan areas of the Research Triangle metropolitan region. The regional nickname of "The Triangle" originated after the 1959 creation of the Research Triangle Park, primarily located in Durham County, four miles from downtown Durham. RTP is bordered on three sides by the city of Durham and is roughly midway between the cities of Raleigh and Chapel Hill, and the three major research universities of NC State University, Duke University, and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Effective June 6, 2003, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) redefined the Federal statistical areas. This resulted in the formation of the Raleigh-Cary, NC Metro Area and the Durham-Chapel Hill, NC Metro Area.
The Research Triangle region encompasses OMB's Combined Statistical Area (CSA) of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill in the central Piedmont region of North Carolina. As of 2012, the population of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill CSA was 1,998,808. The Raleigh-Cary Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as of Census 2010 was 1,130,490.

This is a wonderful video. Streets I knew so well. So much has changed since I went to Cary High School back in the seventies. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. 😢❤
Thank you for this video, this makes me happy, because I lived in Raleigh for 3 years, and I still miss the places and the people I left there, good times, God bless you all.
Hello, beautiful NC road trip my memories is still there thank you sharing 💕👍
I lived in Cary from 1977 to 78 . Then we came to Raleigh from 79 to 87. Man I miss my childhood. Growing up in N.C. Was pretty good. We lived in Village Greenway Apartments in Cary. Went to Adams elementary school (then Henry Adams Elementary).
Interesting to see Cary from 3 years ago. Funny how some areas have changed so much in that short of time and others look exactly the same.
Fun fact. Cary is a suburb of Raleigh NC, and it's larger than any single city in South Carolina.
As soon as you turned down Tanglewood, I was like, Mike don't know where he going. ☺️
😂

This township looks very walkable! I love the look of Cary, NC!
Yes. One of the most popular places in NC that people are moving to right now.
That’s what I really love about this place! I visited multiple towns in NC and Cary was my favorite! I can’t wait to move here :D

City Hall-
... if you take a right, and walk up that path, there's a Police Station -
Outside of the station, there's a nice size fountain, and we did the pool lining for the fountain ⛲ -
... came out nice -
thank you for your videos
No problem. Glad you like them!
I enjoyed the ride......looking forward to the next one.
Appreciate you watching!
Looks Like The WPTF Radio 📻 Tower On The Left
I noticed you completely ignored Walnut St, Tryon Rd, and the other part of Maynard Rd which would reveal to viewers that Cary is *not* a bird chirping, peaceful place to drive from noon to 8pm. You didn't reveal the behemoth SUVs who take 20 minutes to turn a corner, who panic and ride their brakes if a gnat flies in front of them, totally dedicated to their cellphones, but not so much the task of driving, go 10mph under the speed limit causing unnecessary congestion, unless they're in a parking lot. Parking lots are the Indy 500, apparently.
Excellent
What time of day was this? There doesn’t seem to be anyone out or even on the roads. Is this typical?
No!
i love cary
I've got a few college friends who lived in the area, and I've always wanted to visit someday! Maybe when the pandemic is over, I will...
When the pandemic is over I also wanna visit it. But it's so dang expensive.
i didnt expect you here
Seems as if anytime it is from a town or city in what are called flyover states the comments are from the locals. Always hope to read comments from Europe but as usual no luck.
Hi Mike! How can I contact you? I have a question to ask regarding using your footage!
This makes me feel im in USA
A lot of very old video
Thanks for posting this video. Can you do one for Holly Spring.
Yeah eventually I'll head back up there and do Holly Springs as well as Apex.
Cary Arts Center 🏨
I live in Cary and it's pretty safe here
👍 One of the safest towns of its size in the country.
Hi
I want to relocate to north carolina but too much trees there, every video i watch is all trees.
Yes we have lots of those. Pretty much only Downtown Charlotte and a few areas around it give somewhat of an urban feel in NC.
That’s good tho
If you don’t like it don’t move here 🖕
My old apartment complex at 22:04.
Did you enjoy living there ? Thinking of relocating to NC !
@@jDot2414 Cary is a nice small city. I would recommend it.
olzt100 thank you ! What do you feel about charolette?
@@jDot2414 I never lived in Charlotte but I wanted to and frequently visited it. It's another great NC city. But every place has its bad side. Remember it's all about what part you locate to and what you are near.
@@olzt100 I am thinking of relocating to Cary from Los Angeles. How are the people here? What are the good things and bad things of living here according to you?
????.....Cary has a "downtown"??? Lol....Austin Quality Foods used to be down there. Now its Kellogg off the Weston Parkway.
Hi can you come pick me up
