So completely agree with you Trevor, who says that you have to have a house, a car, a job, blahdy blah blah blah. Love the name of the art gallery. My Mom and Dad never really had much, and neither did we growing up. You are you, and that's what is so great about your channel. They were actually quite deep words Trevor.
It's great that you can identify with those words. The channel is not about being on permanent holiday, it is serious stuff this Life On The Run. I have no idea how it will all end, and who cares.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun well we all know how it ends for all of us in the end. That's why it needs to be enjoyed, rather than doing what is expected with a stone around our necks and chains around our feet. We are always in holiday mode til the cleaning and washing needs doing or the shopping lol. Some things you can never escape from.😁
As soon as we get back to Tracey's Pat goes into mumsy mode. She's at it now which tells me she's feeling ok, but I have to keep my eye on her, or she won't stop. Glad you like the vlogs. As for my smile, it does surprise me.
Still chasing life on the run🤣🤣 You don’t get rid of us that quick. I totally understand living as you do. A few of my friends kids have homes that are van shaped. They live in campers and motorhomes because they can’t afford a house. Three years into this life and they don’t want a house with all the trappings. I have absolute admiration for them, it is hard to find water, loos and parking but, they put the energy into it and, they seem to be settled. We have friends who retired to a canal boat, my friends daughter lives in the summerhouse in the garden. Who said you had to have a house shaped home 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So pleased your still interested Julie. I remember a news story not too long ago about a couple who lived on a bench outside a library somewhere for more than a year and refused offers by the council of a house because of the cost of running a house, so i can well understand those you mention.
What a thrill it is to have you along on this journey we are on. I can't describe what a feeling it is that there are such as yourself actually listening.
Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoy reading poetry and loved listening to your poem. Have you written poetry throughout your life? This poem particularly the reference to 'clitter and clatter along tracks that don't matter' really resonated with me. Lots to think about. Look forward to listening to more of your poems in the future.
Hi Tina. I am not a poet, I don't write a lot of poetry. When I was younger I seemed to have a better brain than now, I could pluck words out of nowhere, but I seem so dull now by comparison. I have always enjoyed sitting thinking, and even now you will find me sitting in the passenger seat of the van thinking while Pat watches tv. There are more poems to come, and I am delighted that you will be listening to them. "Clitter and clatter along tracks that don't matter" is the norm for life. When I was young I asked my parants "is this all there is to life", but they didn't know what i meant and my father said "you will always have to work Trevor".
[watched: july 27, 2024] I enjoyed this very much. thankyou 😊
Your welcome Cathie.
🙂still listening love the poem hiding in the lakes no mobile signal for days great

Nope, still here. We are not going anywhere. I think you will find your subscribers ever loyal.
After yesterday nothing on this channel will surprise me.
