Soooo inspiring to see your positive words about your job experience. interesting t OK see you both today. well said n worth watching. have a blessed day Anna n Anitha sis. ♥️💕🌼
Very useful video. Here in the UK the take home salary is less due to tax, NI and pension deductions. This is the difference between India and UK. That's the reason we were able to save more in India. I agree with both of you about creating own identity especially earnings would only increase the family income and give the individual confidence and positive feeling about sharing responsibility. My husband is a doctor in the NHS earning 6 digit salary and there is no need for me to go to work. However I'm lucky to have an understanding husband who completely supported me with childcare and housework when I decided to work when my son started pre school. Now my son is in university and both my husband and I share all the work and working full time. No ego between us and this is very important for married women to establish their career.

Agree with Anitha very much. But I do know there are some couples where the husband is super successful and it is meaningless for the wife to earn and to augment the husband’s millions. So in some cases Anand’s point is valid. But most of us fall in the category where 2 incomes are a necessity. And it’s a shame when a talented capable wife has to sit at home. I lost my identity when I got married and moved to the USA at 26 years. My MBA from India was not recognized and having a baby immediately after marriage made it super difficult to reinvent myself again. Then I had to work super hard, get the baby in a daycare ( in laws were shocked) to educate myself and seek a job on my own Work visa. But it was certainly so worth it.
When we came to Canada in 1985 and then move to USA 1990, I was with dependent visa so I couldn’t work. My husband had PhD and I had Masters in Zoology but unfortunately I couldn’t work until I get the green card. That time no IT craziness. With IT boom and fortunately both couple can work and starting salary was better than a prof or many high educated jobs. We didn’t have car and it took 10 years to get a small house and that too after getting green card. Now with out green card itself, people are buying the houses and that too big houses. Biggest difference from our generation and the young generation is, we lived with minimum. We did work hard with less pay. After Y2K, the salary got raised in all fields and around the world. Also many of our generation had commitments back with the family. Our only vacation was going to India which is after 5 years. Now things have changed. If anybody wants to live watching others and wants to be like others will never be happy.
I just loved your positive attitude towards women ......great . I too feel proud and happy and inspiring to see all working women.....start from maid, sweepers, to CEO.
Nice video😀😀 ...happy to see you after a while ..naduvula my mind voice be like... Ippadiye pesitu irundha eppadi.. yaaru periya aalunu adichu kaamikaa vendaamaaanu 🤣🤣
Both gave us a very good debate on exploring the living cost in uk and the need off working of partners(husband and wife)is indeed. Sometimes @Anitha interrupt for @anand but it’s good both made a valid points across different scenarios ❤

Hi Mam, I need a it job in london, I have 11 experience in IT(QA senior test analyst) and worked for tcs. I left my job due to my husband job in london.could you please refer me for some job.
Also encourage women to start up business while looking after kids they can do anything they r good and passionate about. Best is business over working under some one …
Very useful. Permanent jobs as you said have securities like sick pay, maternity pay and death in service. But money might be less. The other way is a risk taking but lots of people like contracts. I don’t have anything to do with IT but found this video very useful. Thanks to both of you

This is a great share for people to understand what would life look like. But there is a point I would like to add, it’s true that the medical care and education is free but the money comes out as tax from your salary. That’s why you only get 3000 a month when your actual pay is 4000 a month. Just to be clear. People say in UK education & medical expenses are free but don’t understand that actually the tax is higher and comes out of paycheck.
Its not just society's problem that women has to sacrifice its also nature's problem. Child bearing may put different complications not only health wise but also financially. So it become very natural to keep the career of men as steady as possible and we end up in the scarifying side. The companies has to understand this and facilitate the easy transition between the career break. But unfortunately that's not the case. I just took one year break to accommodate the career change of my life partner but it become 6 year gap with the children and the responsibilities that came along along with that. We have to put 10X effort in everything to shine even a little and in the end they easily criticize us on the character if a women achieve or reach big places. Just the curse of the society!
Hi Anitha and Anand once again you have put an awesome video and explained it very well. Anitha you have explained the struggle and the passion quite nicely, no pain no gain. As a women you should be able to support yourself regardless of what your parter or kids do. I think that’s what the previous generation lacked . I can say there should be a drive that’s all it matters. It is also true to have a supportive partner that’s how you can achieve your goal and a family goal as well.
That was a great point mare by anitha why not a working men have a hobby.. if women stands up to share the family load the men can take a break from work to pursue their passion a bit.

You are right. But in India all professionals are getting their salary only after tax deduction but with zero benefits. That's the difference!!!
