I was about to throw this brick in the bin. I kept getting messages for updates, but my usb port is broken a long time ago, so no updates possible. Since the screen wasn't reacting anymore either... I was actually trying to find, if/ which of the usb wires are corresponding with the copper contacts on the back, but this screen reset already made my day. Thanks!
hi i have navigator 5 and when i plug it to 2016 bmw r 1200 rt, my motorcycle option does not work. navigator 5 in the engine may also be caused in the current state.
@@B4f189 I had the same, but discovered that if you continue to press the power button the calibration screen does come up. However then another problem arises: I can touch / push on the dots, but the procedure does never stop (I tried up to 20 dots or so). I never get to the screen that the calibration is done :-(

Hi, in the white calibration menu my display always turns off. Like in your first try. what do I wrong?
Leave the unit on charge, after 2 3 hours disconnect the charger and try calibration steps again.
@@RepairMyDevice The Battery is full loaded. tried it 6-7 times and it always goes off. I'm a little bit confused
He does not know how to respond, nor does garmin, mine only resolves after sending to update the software on garmin.
