I’ve had a 220i for about 500 miles and the CarPlay thing happened after an update.. I’ve found if you take your time getting in and starting the car it works better than getting in and pushing start button before you get your seatbelt on 😎
My issue, my blind spot sensor passenger side does not work all the time. It sees the first car that I pass and then … that’s it. Went to the dealer and they notice the problem and they think it is a software issue because there are no errors in sensor itself …. Does anyone has the same problem ?
Had a Brooklyn grey 230i now for about a month, love it so far been getting 40mpg, power is ok, i think it should be more 300bhp as its a heavy car. Also a bit disappointed they dont have adaptive cruise standard like the golf but not been missing it massively.
Man it's incredible, I have exactly the same problems as you, fogging in the headlight and iDrive 8 sometimes doesn't work with iOS Car Play I have to do the same stop and restart the car... I have this car which I bought brand new in January 2024. But without these problems I love this car :)
Just switch the Iphone to Flight mode, wait a couple of seconds, return from flight mode and let the phone reconnect to the car. No need for stopping the car, etc.
Great Video! In your opinion M Sport Pro Pack or Tech Pack with Wheels, Sun protect and HK Sound as options? can't Do both Tech Pack and M Sport Pro packs in full.

Very nice black 220i man, i got the same & it’s a crazy good looking car 😍 sad it’s not enough powerfull with 184hp but with a wonderfull chassis...the 230i wasn’t available in France since LCi will come and i am gonna have one for december and this one should be perfect i guess, not too powerfull to keep control with way more good acceleration than the 220i. Wondering what new car you will get but if not vintage bmw i don’t see any modern car that could be better than this g42 in the driving experience of this segment except a 230i. Hope you’ll like your new one & curious to see it soon!
Hi , I got my 220i Thundernight almost a year ago, cognac sport seats. I am past the half century old. My wife and I just adore this car, Power is plenty if you follow speed limits, fuel consumption is great (same as my daughter's 1.2 skoda. So my point is this car might be too slow to your taste, but is plenty for Miss Daisy's driver ;) BTW, never had an issue with android auto.Greetings from France :)

Great video, what are you getting next? Im torn between this & the 240i, the monthly pcp payments are about £100 difference. Insurance & fuel economy aren’t massively different either!

I have the 230i and it has a bit more horsepower at 255. I feel like it's plenty powerful enough, although i must admit driving in ECO mode is like driving a totally different vehicle compared to sport mode or even comfort. I have the black metallic one as well, but i don't get any compliments like you do. Lol😂
The 230i is the ideal Car to have! And haha really! Give it a good wash and detail people will snap there necks at it 😻 i appreciate the view , like and subscribe 🙏🏽

I know that the voume button can be pushed for about 30 seconds and restarts the system...maybe try that?

My m240i is 4months old and I sometimes have phone connection problems

Hi David, well really should be every 1 year but it depends how you drive your car and type of millage... theres no harm doing it every 6 months too

My wife can get 40mpg out of my new m240i at 70mph it's in 7th or 8th gear and is only at 1500rpm
