A look at Moore, Oklahoma and one of its favorite sons: Toby Kieth. Also featured: Chuck Goff who passed away this year.
If you think you have Toby Keith all figured out,you might be surprised. I know I was. From what I have seen Toby is a loyal stand-up guy who not only cares about the people around him but demonstrates it through his actions. He is not without a few crags and dents, but he is as genuine as the day is long. He has also been known to write good tune and turn a clever phrase. I have to admit that I respect him.

This is the best just hearing about Toby's humble beginnings. On his life his boots are definitely on the ground. He's a kind compassionate human being. Who entertains and honors America and our troops. I can't say enough good about this man when God made him he threw the mold away.
Just to know him or know of him. We could learn one of life's greatest lessons love and compassion for your fellow man. Loving the simple things in life being home grown with good work ethics. And he is fair to everyone he pulls no punches. What great parenting Toby Keith covell had growing up. And he had a deep love for his mom and dad and his family. It's interesting when you hear of a life like this. God bless Toby Keith speedy recovery and get well and I've said it on just about every page that I wrote happy birthday July 8th 2022 wishing you many many more cowboy. Your so fortunate to live in a hometown like this mine is quite the same High River Alberta Canada you havec tornados we have floods i lost my whole life in our flood of 2013 home car truck animals as I watched them go down the river 💔 😢 so sad but as a strong single lady I survived and rebuilt as to the best I could you gave me the strength always to listen to Blue Moon as I amba surgical nurse on the heart ward I knew that song was going to pull me through my hurt 💙 you pulled through I could even though I was alone kids grown and gone and professionals I thank you for just being on a CD to have me listen to and begin to rebuild

If im not mistaken, there was a movie made called "Far and Away" starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman which depucts a couple that met in ireland and traveled to North America to claim their sppot of "free land". Really good movie.
My great grandmother came to Oklahoma 14 years before the land run and had a farm in Russett Oklahoma. A town that not really there now unless you know where to look. It’s between madill and tishamingo. Just east of mannsville
