  • I had recorded a first draft of this over a year ago but shelved it because I messed it up. Then this time the mic didn't work. If bad things happen in 3's then I guess I'm tempting fate because I hit "print" anyways. I'm not trying a 3rd time.
    AAAAND I forgot about setting the X-offset after doing the beam index point. Good grief, maybe that was the 3rd one.

    Very well done and concise. The editing, picture overlays, and insets are very well done too. Thank you, Jim

    this made a little more sense to me ( in my class we use an epoch 650,however, i still manage to understand). know i need to practice since we are going to start an assignment based on this tomorrow

    Good evening sir. Paul well delivered video by the way... Next time sir can you demonstrate to us the signals of defects and weld samples.. Like high low weld applications thankyou..

    Love the videos I mean it!! thanks for doing the fundamentals. I’m always sharing your videos. Looking forward to sharing your Dac video. P.s who’s your hater lol can’t believe someone is giving this video a thumbs down so weird.

    Nice demonstration paul, peace and love for you ;).
    I love wave device so much, but there's one feature that I couldn't find among its features, which is angle measurement mode.
    It's available on D-50, and it's really cool, you just need to put the SDH diameter and depth, and it shows the actual refracted angle.
    What do you think about it, Paul, is it reliable? Or do you have other tricks to teach us, beside (cos×=t/B.P)?

    Hello Paul, can I request that you make a video on calibrating TRL Probes as I'm having some difficulty finding it anywhere on the web, Cheers.

    Good video. May I know why the Wave is not allowed to insert probe distance but have to consider starting from the beam exit point? Since you have X-offset, we just need to insert probe distance and it would simplify the calculation.

    Nice video, Paul. Why do we see the signal from the 2" radius lower in comparison to the 4" one? Is it due to beam spread?

    Hi Paul, do you have any advice for if the stand off from the front of the probe, is not measuring 100mm? And seems to be the case on multiple probes?

    Sir, please tell me, how to prope true angle checking in v2 block 70 degree depth of hole how much sir? 8mm or 7.5 mm and 60,45 degree true angle checking depth of hole how much sir?

    How do you tell the difference between a small crack in the root verse a far root signal.

    • @hollowayndtengineeringinc.5201
      @hollowayndtengineeringinc.5201  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pretty hard to do in practical circumstances. In the lab, on a bench, with a known sample sure maybe no problems. But in the field with a scanner, couplant, wedges skimming the surface... those little inconsistencies will move your root signal up and down and may make it look a few millimeters above or below the backwall. Gotta really pay attention and look for tip diffracted signals. Do a manual scan from the opposite side to complement your encoded scan if you can't encode both sides.

    Good mourning . Can you, my friend, offer us a calibration of a dual probe of different angles for a longitudinal longitudinal transverse system.tankh you.
