Hi Cam great channel mate. For fixing the ziggy down I have use bolts and washers to fix down the rubber feet of the bbq in position and you can turn it around either way when needed and ours has never moved. Cheers Duane & Janelle
Thanks guys! At the moment I'm just strapping it down because I'm storing the clip-on bench underneath it while we're travelling. if i find somewhere else to store the bench then I'll definitely look at bolting it down.

Hey Cam, Some great ideas and advice. We are about to order a 5th wheeler and the insurance is an issue. The WITI is a great idea for peace of mind and hopefully will help drop the premium. Definitely get that installed.
Kevin, we are getting a 5th wheeler built too (due June 2023). Who did you go with for insurance and are you using a witi brake controller by any chance?
@@carladalton6220 we haven't made a decision yet on the insurance. We most probably will not use the WITI connection. I prefer simple hard wired connections. Less chance of a breake failure, and I cad fix simple wiring issues.

Great vid again Cam. If you increase the rim& tyre size, have you been advised you need bigger brakes too? That's what I was told. Also has your awning clothes line caused your awning to be out of plum when trying to pull it out? Mine does, even with minimal tension on the line.
I installed the newer version of the WiTi and was wondering why shaking the van didn't set off the alarm. I contacted them, and they told me that they changed how the alarm works. They found that relying on movement to detect break-ins resulted in too many false alarms. So they dialled down the sensitivity to movement and added the sensors. BTW thanks for the discount code for that.
Obviously we don’t know why you have upgraded the vans wire system , may be because the current system will not be able to handle future upgrades but for the price you pay for vans these days spending extra money on a new set up does my head in , probably yours as well lol !!

Hi Cam, just curious about the anti dust system. Does it have filtration to stop the dust coming in as it sucks the air in? If so, how regularly do they need cleaning/changing?
Gday Allan, yeah it has a replacement filter on it. I’m not sure what the service life on it is- I guess it would depend on the conditions it’s subjected to!
