I was confused for many years after because many had said that it was a disco song but to me it was not. I never listened to the original version until many years later and finally understood what they were talking about. This version in my opinion is best. The band is amazing, and Paul Stanley was at his peak during this era.

Paul's vocals are just p art their peak by this stage. The reason why I say this is because he doesn't do the falsetto during the bridge of this song. If c course he may have just elected to sing it the way he did to give it a heavier more bluesy feel. I do remember being impressed by the power of his vocal performance on I still love you off Alive 3.

Why do people always think that studiorecordings make it all easy. Studio musician is a profession. You catch the live energy only with live recordings, and yes, you can overdub, but the essence, the energy , is caught live.
Alive 3 was the first KISS album i ever brought... and it is divine intervention that i came across THIS version instead of any of the 'studio' versions same w/ "Forever"... the live version has much more passion and intensity that i don't hear in the 'studio' album
