Fabulous video Sarah Harrison 👍😊really enjoyed the easy pace of your film (really good 👍 😊) The hike looked good lots of trees 🌳 🌲 Even on the summit gave it a truly untouched feel (those flys look bad news ) But thanks for taking us along 👍😊 Best wishes Simon 😊🙏🏼
Thank you Simon! Just like with most hikes there is always something special to focus on, regardless of the other unfortunate aspects while out on the trail 😅 We hope we're getting better at capturing both!
Haha, it's not all sunbeams and rainbows. 😁 I was on Mt. Hight last June and the black flies ruined the experience. There's probably no other natural condition worse to deal with than bad insects. Cabot is a nice hike - I recommend doing it as a loop so that you go over the Horn which has arguably the best views of the Pilot/Pliney Range. Plus you go past Unknown Pond. You get a little more bang for your buck that way.
Haha, that's for sure! We agree, the insects can make or break a hike, unfortunately. Thanks for the tip! We read a little about the loop and would love to do it if we find ourselves up that way again (maybe in the winter).
That's awesome! Cool thing about most of these hikes is that people have more than a few options on how to hike them, which is great. And thank you, we will surely try! 😁

☺️ thanks! Yes, hiking gets very real, very quickly. Have to find the humor somewhere!

Why aren’t you counting Washington? We summitted but took the train down so we’re not counting that.
Washington is the worst good to get that one done first
That was a great little hike guys, the mud and steep climbs looks a bit challenging for some, but it looks worth it at the top 😊 great video
one of the most miserable hikes I've ever done
