After 49 years of clean shaven life I decided to grow a beard. My journey started about 2 months ago and your tips have perfect timing. Want to say a quick thank you to all the gents (and staff) of this channel, not only for the content but for including all body styles, skin tones and price points. Not every man in 5' 9 180 pounds and makes 170k a year. In the last year I have transformed myself from slob to the gentlemen other gentlemen ask for grooming / dressing tips. Keep up the great work!

Using pure coconut oil as a beard conditioner is a great cheap alternative to the more expensive beard balms as it is a primary ingredient in many of the balms.

I've gone back and forth from beard to clean shaven several times (and did a standalone mustache once, my fiancee told me I looked like Ned Flanders until I cut it off). Having a 5 o'clock shadow seems like the best look for me, so I've just started shaving before bed instead of in the morning. Also gives the razorbumps time to calm down if they show up.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for calling attention to the all-too-common case of making the neck line way too high. I see this on a great many beards, especially new or younger men, and it's a bad look for sure. The purpose of a beard is to accentuate and lengthen the jaw line; cutting this line too high accomplishes the opposite.

For me, washing my beard with beard soap every two days, dry it to make sure there's no soap leftovers and apply and oil immediately after, keeps my beard on check.

I trim about .5“ under chin lined to the tip of the corner of my jaw. Helps define my jaw line without looking artificial

Does someone with a long beard need a beard brush? I've read that a comb is usually for longer beards while brushes are used for shorter ones.

You can probably grow a beard if you had the paitence for it, even if it is not the style you would choose in a perfect world.

Can y’all please make a video on western wear and “how to dress like the Marlboro man”! I’m from Texas and I think the art of western wear is becoming lost and I’d love to see a video about it.

I've had some sort of facial hair for all my life (pushing 60 years) & currently sport a full set of whiskers ie. more than two fistfuls of hair long & my only hint/suggestion is, find a shampoo & conditioner that work for you & use them religiously.
The look on peoples' faces when they touch your beard & realize it is silky smooth is worth the extra time & effort!

Hello, how are you, a question, how should I dress, the top is a white shirt, tie or bow tie preferably black, but the bottom, the pants I am not clear, should they be black? should they be the same color as the vest? should they be of the same material as the vest ?
PS: I am going to work as a servant or butler.
    thanks

If you have issues with keeping the skin under your beard hydrated like myself, I make sure to keep my beard length a number two in order to make sure that my wash can get in there and get things done.

Just remember the plastics create static electricity which will cause splitends. So stay away from plastic for your beard combs.

I treat my beard the same way I treat my hair and the rest of my body:
I wash everything with the same soap bar, dry my beard with my hair dryer at max speed and heat and then comb it down. I don't shave exactly cause I'm tired of taking care of it, my beard gotta better enjoy being neglected

Best thing to do is shave it off and look nice. Beards always look lazy and make people wonder if the person showers or washes their face if they can't even get in a shave a few days a week
