We played this music at my mother's memorial service; it will always bring beautiful tears to my heart.
"Selig sind die Toten, die in dem Herrn sterben!" Wie wahre Worte!
Thank you. I am a fellow former chorister with the Chicago Symphony Chorus for 17 years. I have had the joy of singing this stirring piece. I needed this today. You restoreth my soul. To hear it intimately performed in a beautiful church with fine acoustics was truly stirring and healing. Blessings to you all. Sing on!
3:50 best part. Can't stop my eyes from getting teared up
How could anyone dislike this?
Incredible performance by everyone involved. I love how the pianists stay perfectly synchronized with all the changes in tempo and dynamics :)
Wunderschön!😍
wow this performance is amazing
Wonderful!! Excelente!! From Brasil...
sublime!
I wish they’d have listed the choristers in this piece. And who sang what. Watching it looks like there’s only three altos. Their names were on the website in years past but they’re gone now.
RIP D. I. Panjaitan
