Wonderful history. It seems so strange now to hear Jimmy Hill (around 12.00) singling out the three "coloured" players for special attention. But he is right, it was a happy day, as those players did a lot to undermine the terrace racism that was far too commonplace back then.
It's nothing of the sort. "Coloured" was ok back then but would be considered as incorrect as Negro would be. The word used these days would be Black - not because it's derogatory but because that is the word Black people generally prefer. Whatever, it was a significant day and great that it was acknowledged.

Always wondered what happened to him. Thought he had retired in about 1974. Had also forgotten John Radford played for the Hammers. Whatever happened to Keith Robson, Billy Jennings and Alan Taylor ? All 3 were good players who just seemed to disappear from sight.
