Worst thing about riding Motorcycle in Nepal! (not the roads)

- It’s the busses guys! Most of them are super old they drive like madmen 😅 and the dirty diesel fumes the reason for my black face every day, I have no choice but to overtake them as fast as possible;) Visiting Lumbini, Buddha’s birthplace was definitely a highlight and being a little ripped off at the charging station didn’t bother me that much, food was good tho;) let’s see if I will get completely soaked going back to Pokhara 🌧️

Dude, it's so great to see you riding in Nepal, thinking of all the places you've already been. It really makes me jealous but also happy to be able to see what you are sharing with us. Stay cool and stay safe! Peace ✌🏻
Thanks for coming along
Great video Marc. Love your journeys. Never dull. Can see that you’re loving it. Great man!
I've been following your vlogs since you had crossed border to India. I watched them all India vlogs and liked. I'm glad you are going back to India to explore more especially northeast. Bravo

Good vid. Wet wet wet. All part of it. That diesel smoke will choke you down. It is scenic in it's own way. Good to see it in the light. The people are so friendly. They were glad to see you again. Roo with a view. Let's see. All good safe travels where ever you are.
Recently discovered your channel Marc, as a keen motorcyclist , found the content incredible with great editing .I presume the charging power in Nepal , varies from nothing to average ? !.
Now I can charge with full power also in Nepal 🇳🇵 you‘ll see soon
Brilliant my man, brilliant, that take over was nice, with the steep thing ahead. Love your content, thanks man for adding this.
Nepal is just amazing. I always love it there ❤

Was waiting for you to show my hometome just 10 mins ahead of the police checking. But you skipped it. Also you passed mine company's vehicle at 19:24 lol. Anyway welcome to nepal bro. Just remember its better charge at big cities like pkr, ktm, butwal rather than searching in rural areas. Have fun
4:34 There's a very famous temple nearby if you would like to check that out. It's one of the most important Hindu Temples.
4:45 It would be a completely different perspective if you explore the other northern and north-eastern states (just be aware of landslides in the rainy season).
14:45 Sometimes they intentionally don't let you overtake just for fun.
22:50 It really does feel like an interesting video game.

From kathmandu when you plan to return back to india, try choosing this route.
kathmandu-> dhulikhel-> Mulkot(BP highway)-> sindhuli -> bardibas -> hetauda-> Raxaul-> india.
"good road", nice views, lots of charger along the way.
also, do be careful of the landslides that are frequently occuring due to rainfall

Hope you're enjoying your Ride in Nepal brother !!
Definitely
I'm about to do a similar trip in a few months. 6 weeks or so starting in Jammu & Kashmir, buying a RE Himalayan there, then exploring Nepal for the rest of my trip. No plan, just pure exploration. Hope you're having a great time man!
Tip for others traveling from outside to the subcontinent, about food try eating well cooked or deep fried food as much possible. Very less chance of bugs surviving that one. Avoid food like noodles where its precooked and they just heat and give you. If you are starving for noodles, we have something called Maggi noodles. They will make one absolutely fresh in 2-5 mins. One long know thing travelers do, avoid animal protein for initial few weeks if traveling far continents. Our body always has fight digesting protein.
maggi noodles are also pre-cooked. wdym?
@@sandipthapa526 No. They always keep the dry packet and cook in-front of you. They just need to boil the water and its done. I don't know any shop I visit which pre-cook maggi noodle. Few of them actually always make a point to show me the package before they cook for me select the taste I want.
@@VedaSay we have wai-wai Maggi taste bland
Safe travels Marc Outstanding videos of you and eve. Locals like to drive on both side of the road interesting anything goes
Yeah somehow they don’t crash into each other all the time…fascinating 😉
Was in Nepal some 20 years ago. Rented a motorcycle & started my ride out of Kathmandu on the Ring Road. Disgusting road, was covered in soot in minutes. Black diesel exhaust everywhere. Nice to get higher up into the mountains where the air was much cleaner.
Yeah mountain air is much better 🙌🏼
We love you bro always keep doing and upload video always .. we love it bro from Nepal ❤❤❤❤

Oh yeah 😃
200 Rupee is that $1-50 ? Fantastic how you find these out of the way Chargers - wasn't one charger in the back of what looked like a work shop / garage , a video or so ago. Stay safe on them mountain roads.
Every time you get smoke, I feel sorrow and entertained at the same time😂😂
Haha yeah people love to see me suffer 🤪

The smoke belching buses is a general problem in many low income countries. If the government would subsidize $100 per engine, they could buy at least euro3 or euro4 standard engines.
Wish you best during your trip🔥
Thank you 🙌

leaning angle is how you take the curves. It is the big difference between two wheels and cars - balancing and leaning while you are taking a curve. By the way, I checked the prices for charging EV-s here i Sweden - its about 0.9 Euro/kwh.
Wow that’s freakin expensive 😳

God bless you..
In India you don't just drive home from office. You overtake others till you reach home.
Yeah in Nepal as well 🤪
Me in metro 💆🗿
I didn't even think it was possible to cover Nepal with an electric vehicle because of their "premature" infrastructure, not that India has a good charging infrastructure but i mean it's sorta better in the south region. Looking forward to seeing you back in India and this time covering Ladakh, just a note that the climate will be very challenging to say the least and the Charging infra is well as good as Nepal lol. Who knows maybe you have already covered that area while I'm typing this comment 😂
Maybe 🤪 🏔️
every other car is ev in nepal now. you can expect to find charging stations more
Hi Mark, I have been watching you for a very long time and you look very humble and a nice person. Whenever you plan yo come to North India, please come go Hayrana state and I will be happy to host you.

Rough drive. Was 100 rupee over charge just about less than $1. If so, that's OK. $2 for a charge is good. Keep em' coming our way! and be safe! Happy trails.
Still going strong Marc.
Yes, Nepal generates most of it's electricity by Biomass, not very green. India is really going GREEN (I don't think). In India major production of Electricity is achieved through coal a thermal power plant which is around 75% of the total power generation.
lots of love from nepal❤❤❤❤

I’d much rather have a petrol motorcycle than an electric one that constantly needs charging. In places like Nepal, where EV chargers are scarce or non-functional, it's more practical to ride a fuel-powered motorcycle to avoid the anxiety, stress, and wasted time searching for a charger and waiting for it to charge.
Sure, everybody and their mother can do what I do on normal motorcycles! Where would be the challenge in that?
great video , I could not ride these road with my Ryker to low ........u are brave to overtake the traffic on these road
U missed monsoon in Maharashtra in India. It's really AMAZING.
Marc when you comeback to India .. if possible visit the Northeastern part of India , a totally different experience from the mainland India with unique and rich cultural diversity.
Do look up about the Northeastern states of India in internet and TH-cam to get an idea about our northeast .
Would love to meet you if you do visit the Northeast.
# Ride safe.
Okay ✅
9:00 you either overtake or slow down. As bikers we never drive so close to four wheel. Mostly slow down and you should be able to watch ahead if overtaking stretch is there. Then you speed up to the vehicle ahead and they will understand you want to overtake and let you go. Yes in Asia if they think it will be dangerous overtake they will sometimes block you all means possible.
Yeah I mean these bus driver a freakin maniacs!!🤣

don't miss to visit Majhikuna which is a village beside Begnas lake, basically it's also lakeside. But I suggest you to go via bijayapur, kalika, saure, majhthana and Majhikuna. While coming back to Fewa lakeside, your apartment, you can opt for either regular main way road via Talchowk Or via Gagangauda, Bharatpokhari hudikot, Nirmal pokhari, Dopahare, Chhorepatan Davis fall, Birauta and lakeside your apartment.
If you want to explore lil more further around 25 - 40 km distance then Tatopani/Kharapani or Bhurjung khola trout farm area, Sikles, Tangting, Bhorletar/Karputar, Bhimad, Dhampus/Australian Camp, Lwang Ghalel are the spots you can visit.
Yes will do 😊
I love Angst ,ich will,du hast each & every songs from Rammestin.
avg 50 km/h
50 000 km
h = 50k/50 = 1 000 hours
Takes ~10kW @ 50 km/h
Wh = 1k * 10k = 10 MWatt-hours
9 kW-h per 1 gallon of gasoline
10M / 10k = 1 000 gallons of gasoline
An average American home uses 1 MW-h per month.
9000 watt hours will equal about one gallon of gasoline.
On average, an off-grid home uses around 5000-7000 watt-hours per day. For this reason, a 10000-watt generator is enough to meet the needs of most off-grid homes.
It’s not always about foreign price sometimes it’s the place where you charge
Nah that was definitely foreigner tax 🤣
