I recently found four channel (i gues it was the spinning tool video) and I'm very much enjoying your videos while I'm having my morning knit sessions 😌..it's always interesting to hear little bits and pieces, little yarns or presents from Turkey in your videos😅..little crochet piece that you showed called "dantel" in here and in old times every girl would make lots of it before they get married but nowadays almost nobody makes it. I guess the ones we have are always from our mothers and grandmothers vault..anyway thank you so much sharing your journey with spinning and knitting and I'm so happy to see more❤

I also want to learn how to spin. I have 10 pound of fresh Wool from a friend who has a lot of sheeps but I dont know where to start. All the cleaning and brushing and prepping. And I am still searching for a good spinning wheel.
woohoo!! what kind of wool is it? do you know, so far I've only spun from already ready to spin wool, but I recommend watching Jillian eve or Rachel smith, those are good learning channels for all things spinning that offer a lot of tips tricks and how to.
Interesting! here Macrame is a completely different art style, its the one where it hangs on the wall and you just twist the rope or yarn below. however its sad that its being a lost art, just looking at it, it looks so hard and intimidating.
Glad I found you as you’re local to me. I also found that FibresWest was geared to spinners this year. I’ve been wanting to learn but keep putting it off as I think it’s going to be a big rabbit hole for me. Plus I need to find someone who teaches it around here.

I would high suggest you check out baadd anna's yarn shop they have a beginner spin class for spindles or wheels. Sweet Gorgia shop, they have the school of sweet gorgia that offers both have classes, online or in person i think, there are many options there.

In Romania (and probably not just) they are called macrame (the crocheted table covering you showed)
