Which model did you tried? I had no issues washing the car, even on occasions when it was very dirty, when paired up with the right products. Although I haven’t tried to wash the skin off a rice pudding 😂
I have the base model. It is mostly fine. It washes cars. No matter what I do I cannot get a regular foam cannon to work (stuff just dribbles out), but it comes with a soap bottle which sorta works. And I bought an IK Foamer for snow work, which is worth getting. I am intrigued by this higher spec model as flow rate is considerably higher. And yes, it works just fine for bikes too. Absolutely not a bearing killer.
Exactly. I also love to have my IK foamer ready, but I mostly use that on wheels. I have the higher spec hydroshot, and it does a great job with a generic but normal foam cannon. I have a short demo how does it look like when used with a thinner snow foam solution. It does a great coverage (in my opinion the results it give is much much greater than the worx foam cannon) but there is an option to change the orifice from 1.25 to 1.1 in case of used with hydroshot. As it will atomize the snow foam better, meaning you will get a better density out of the foam cannon with a lower pressured pressure washer, such as the work hydroshot. @@RoadToDetailing just to say thank you for your advice. Tried the smaller orifice and it made no difference. I think that one day I'll upgrade to the more powerful model. In the mean time, IK Foamer to the rescue. Your point about the smaller battery is also very valid.
If you are happy with the way your current model works, just keep it. The higher specs model is very expensive, and yes, that’s much better, but if you already have one, just keep it.
