If you know, there are different types of sappers.
Some of them works as rescues in peaceful places very carefully doing all the needed so that the explosive device does not explode. Others - carry out controlled explosions for extraction of natural minerals. But our today heroes have the other kind of missions. They are known as a combat engineers. Their main duties are minefield placement and its clearing. This sappers are responsible for tasks facilitating movement of allied forces and impeding those of their enemies.
They go before the first at the frontline. Their risks are higher than anyone could imagine. The mission from the video is not of their most dangerous or harsh, but it shows more about their communication, their humour, their war-lifestyle. I want you to feel this kind of life and this kind of People.
Survivability without right to make a mistake is their life-credo. Sharpening sapper skills every time when it’s possible and the skills of fighter’s behind you, keeping stable and good mood - their way of life.

The video helped to clarify what the sappers do and the in-person interviews really conveyed how dangerous their work actually is - Raccoon sustaining injuries when he received two bullet wounds in the head and Spartan crawling through the fields with all of his sapper's equipment and being directly shot at by the Russians.
Admiration for the bravery of the one female sapper in this amazing group of soldiers!
