- Join us as we head to Chasiv Yar, where the 225th Battalion holds the line across the "channel" - a very difficult section of the front. During one of the enemy's attacks, 15 Ukrainian soldiers were cut off from friendly units. For 70 days they held circular defense, while water, food, and other supplies were delivered to the surrounded area by drones. Hear from the soldiers and commanders about their harrowing experiences and how they broke the siege. Despite the odds, all seven positions remain under Ukrainian control.

These guys are tough as nails. 70 days in a row of constant combat is insane. Even the US army doesn't do that do to combat fatigue. The world now knows what kind of soldiers they have.
People will push beyond their physical and psychical limits in order to survive this kind of situation s.

If the army was fighting an army with superior numbers and no regard for the life of there men it mite be differant. I don’t think these soldiers did this because they wanted. But they are fighting for their lives. There is no incentive to surrender since the Russians don’t treat prisoners well.
These guys are hard as nails! Ukraine are lucky to have them, and we in the West need to give them everything they need.

These men are true warriors! It must have been terrible to live through that for 70 days, not knowing when it would end and thinking of family and friends, trying to put the fear behind you. You know what's remarkable? How the Ukrainian soldiers have the insane support from their COs and leadership even in the toughest times. They know someone got their back. And Russians? left to fight in old equipment, zero morale, and support. Like a fresh meat for the grinder. Even now, with the incurcion in Kursk region, th people who are fleeing have ZERO support from the government. Only from the local volunteers.

If this is so, how is it that these Ruskkies keep advancing and able to encircled these brave Ukrainian soldiers? I read in some review that the Ruskkies actually respect and salute the Ukrainians for their valor. May peace prevail over this tragedy.

If you call that kind of treatment respectful, you're even worse than the russians themselves.
Yeah, Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure ground to a screeching halt and caused staggering Ukrainian losses (as expected Ukrainian troops are completely exposed to Russian air-strikes and drone-strikes outside of defensive positions), but Ukrainians are stuck. Erratic Zelenskyy is obsessed with media hype, his DC handlers are obsessed with Kamala campaign and Syrsky is obsessed with his career (keeping his position even for one more week is more important for him than lives of all Ukrainian soldiers put together). All of them are just reinforcing the failure as they did in Bakhmut, Krinki or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023. Meanwhile vital Ukrainian positions at the actual front where the war is decided are crumbling.

Was thinking about, pretty sure their working on one's to grab wounded. But have drones big enough to grab people and fly them out of encirclement. In case they get surrounded. And imagine using drones to transport a single soldier, like shock troops or new kinda air borne lol. Risky but out of box
