You got that right. 100-inch mini led tv for 3300 bucks. I'll take that over a projector. Tv's are getting bigger and cheaper. Projector prices are rising. No 3D on this projector, big mistake. I have hundreds of 3D movies. Guess I have to stick with my old JVC for now.
Perhaps you should have asked the Epson people why they are gouging the US customer by charging $3,000 more for the QB1000 in the USA vs Europe. I imagine they would not have a valid response for that.
Great video, thank you. The price for this level of performance is exceptional. I’ve heard some conflicting information. Are these 1080/ 4k e-Shift or native 4k projectors?
@@ThatHomeTheaterDude They also choose what the common man needs to pay in the Us vs Europe, and in the case of the QB1000, Epson decided to gouge their customers by a $3,000 difference in price.
prices for projectors are headed in the wrong direction and big tvs are headed in the right direction. Ill wait

They can't ask real questions, or they won't be invited any longer. I used to be media, this is how it works.
I hope you can compare this QB1000 to the Valerian pro Max
Do we know what the price of the periscope lens is?
Can the Epson EH-QB1000 equal or outperform the JVC--NZ800 in video performance?
Two different models completely. I would say, its closer to the nz7. It is absolutely brighter for sure.
Erm, nope! Epson hasn’t increased on/off!
Hahaha not even close. jVC contrast and blacks put him in another whole higher level of performance
No sign of new mid range models? Like a replacement for the 3800.. Getting a bit long in the tooth
Did you test new Sony Projectors or JVC, how do they stack up to these?
Sure did. If you want sony performance, get a sony. These are excellent performers for sure. Im very impressed
@@ThatHomeTheaterDude But which seemed better for Home Cinema, the new Epson models or Bravia 9 projector?
How is the tone mapping on the QB1000?
Looked great. It was eclipsed in performance by the qb3000 though
@@ThatHomeTheaterDude how were the black levels on the QL3000 compared to the QB1000?
Does it have 3D?
What screen were they using?

qb1000 vs nz500 which one looks better though?btw qb1000 is about 6200 us dollar in my country and nz500 is about 7,300 us dollar..
How about 3D?
I guess Epson kept their QL7000 10,000 Lumen projector playing in another room.
any news about a release date?
QB1000 9/15/24, QL models 10/15/24

@@RobZelinka epson doesnt make native 4k units. For the common man.

Imagine buying one for your 170+ inch and having to turn it down....
Crazy. $7,999 and $14,999 each is pretty reasonable.
Ha
Very nice
C’mon man just bought that Sony laser projector 😅

Great information buds!
Awesome
AWOL 3500 pro still is the one to beat. 3D Capabilities
It’s not about brightness but contrast - and awol is rather weak with 2500
IS 3D CAPABLE OR NOT IS A MAJOR ISSUE. OTHERWISE NO USE
