I have inserted a pre-existing line drawing into the program. The fill flood tool doesn't work on it at all. What do I need to do to the line drawing so that the fill tool will function? PC Version.
The lines may not be touching each other. For example, stroke thickness might be touching, but the actual lines within the strokes may not. Use the Node Tool to bring the lines together. I hope this helps.
Hi spent hours trying to do this learning with your line video I get it don't have this version of AF2 😂 ok one question when you made a copy can you show an example of the correction below will it move the lines and then the colour on top ? And how do you get this beta version?
Hi Terry. If I understand your first question correctly, you are looking to have lines and fills in separate layers. This is possible, yes, but can only arrange them “after” you made your flood fills. The reason for that is because you would need to select your curves (line layer) in order to make fills. As for your second question, you can download the beta here. affinity.serif.com/en-us/affinity-beta-program/
Your video opened up so many possibilities for me! Thank you so much!
Oh well thank you for your feedback. I am glad it helped.
This was very useful. Thanks!
I’m glad it helped.
Version 2.1 changes are a game changer. Thanks for the tutorial!
