Most amazing attention to detail on Kratos's model is that this time there is an actual back scar indicating impalation by the Blade of Olympus. In GoW 3, there wasn't one! This game is completly GORGEOUS!!
It's ironically sad since Kratos lost another wife even though it had nothing to do with any god. He started out by going on a killing spree and eventually destroying a whole pantheon of gods and mistical creatures do to the circumstances he was born in. Now he is going through the same thing again even though he only wants to live in peace. This is why I love God of War. The story changes and mature over time.
In my opinion first family death is sadder because they died violently. His second wife died peacefully and of her own choosing, surrounded by living and prospering family. Because of this second death, he becomes more ... of peaceful warrior than warmongering warrior.
Well, he got his revenge, and saw what kind of suffering his quest caused. That's why he stabbed himself in GoW3; to release the power of Pandora's box into the world to let it heal. He's also actively trying to stop Atreus from being consumed by anger like he was.
I still find it amusing that Sindri cares more about the fact that Brok made improvements to the Leviathan Axe, more than the fact that Kratos threw it at him, and was about a foot from splitting his skull in two.
Kronos and his kind were Titans, a term commonly assumed to be bigger than a giant. Not only assumed but in the God of War franchise, that is the case. Kronos was MUCH bigger, as were his siblings.

there is a huge pool of gear automatically generated for the dwarves shops and an RNG algorithm that defines what Legendary loot drops from the bosses or fro, Legendary chests. Each walkthrough will result in the player having the various equipment. MK would simply have to play this game for several hundred hours to get all the possible loot variants.
My theory as to why Brok and Sindri was angry at each other and they both separated their ways was I think because they were both in love with Faye. Why would the best dwarven blacksmiths care to create a powerful and their best craft to Faye just because she is a good person?
This isn't like God of war 3, they need to build up the world and story before they start killing all of them, this game is probably more similar to god of war 2 in terms of god killing

from god of 3 to this, kratos' attitude changed... he went from wanting to murder everyone to only killing who stood in his path.
His revenge story finished in GOW3. Between GOW3 and GOW4, he is a family man again.
